i am speechless.. i glued myself infront of the TV set witnessing one of the BEST Badminton men's singles match EVER and it has to end in favour to that great wall.

it's a devastating lost.. a lost that really really made tears roll out from my eyes. He was thissssss close.. and yet look so far.

but remember this, You have my utmost respect for you will be the Olympics Champion come next year! I trully believed you throughly deserved the title next year because you work so hard.

All malaysians will be behind you supporting you all the time minus the sceptical one of course!

it's almost 2.5 months since i last blog..

what happened since then ??

My favourite team won the Barclay's Premier League, lost out in the final of the champions league to Barcelona and was a semifinalist of the FA CUP losing to neighbours, Manchester City..

Then in Tennis French Open , my favourite, Roger Federer lost to Rafael Nadal in the final and just only, Federer lost to Tsonga in Wimbledon Quarter Final, even though he was leading 2 sets to none.. So now am looking forward to the last grand slam of the year, US OPEN this coming September...

Personal Front : My grandmother passed away at the age of 95.. so it's been a journey back and forth to Penang 3 times in a space of 2 months, the most i have done since coming down to KL for 1 year plus...

Working Wise : gone through ups and down of life so there is nothing much to say...

and i am excited of going back to study, not study as in STUDY.. but learning new language real soon.. it's hoping it's going to be FUN, FUN , FUN! :) :) :)

and i want to go for a vacation so badly!!!!! OCTOBER I CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO COME!

Still challenging upfront for 3 trophies

I used to love to write on anything for my favourite football club and it has been long since I actually wrote something about them.

Ever since I fulfilled like half of my dream to visit Old Trafford, half more because I so badly wanted to watch a match at Old Trafford, that part hasn’t been fulfilled JUST YET, because the last time I went there it was during the off season.

It’s more than 10 years now ever since I started supporting Manchester United, (dunno why I picked up this club at first) but I got to say perhaps David Beckham was the reason behind me supporting Man United, but like people say, the rest is HISTORY. So here I am supporting one of the biggest football club in the WORLD.

Last 10 years or so, Man United has been winning trophies in and out. Last Season we lost out to Chelsea in the Premier League by a mere 1 point. That was hard for me to swallow despite some comeback United have done like the one against Manchester City where Paul Scholes scored within seconds before the end of the extra time. That was really amazing. And I remembered I was jumping mad when Scholes pop that goal inside City’s net that very day.

But at the end of it, It’s the effort of whole season that count and THAT season CHELSEA were just MAGNIFICIENT, they looked unbeatable and prove their worth and landed their THIRD premier league title in the last 6 years.

The came August 2010 where the Barclay’s Premier League Season for 2010/2011 started, Chelsea took off from how they ended last season brilliantly when they were wining each game with MANY goals.

After that came that moment of bleak or blackness for Chelsea during the month of November and December when they only won 2 out of 9 matches in the space of 2 months.

United on the other hand wasn’t playing their best away from home either, having only won ONCE and drawn 7. That is one of their worst away record but luckily enough HOME form lifted United and there were top of league from then on.

United and Chelsea were supposed to meet during the 1st week of December but because of the frozen pitch no thanks to the heavy snowfall in England, the match due in Stamford Bridge was postponed till March.

March came and United were leading the match 1st half courtesy of Wayne Rooney goal but late fight back saw Chelsea winning the Match 2-1. That weekend, United fall to their 3rd defeat of the season this time, to their arch rival, Liverpool by 3 goal to 1- courtesy of late tap in by Javier Hernandez( this guy was a brilliant brilliant buy by Man United which cost united 7 million pound and in his debut season making a strong impact to the team).

By this time, United were still challenging for 3 trophies they are in, Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

After 2 back to back defeat, it was the 5th Round FA Cup tie with Arsenal that tested United next. Strategist of All-Time, Sir Alex Ferguson, send out a team he knows who can beat the Arsenal side, and 2 goals from Fabio and Wayne Rooney seal the place in the semis and set up a Manchester derby with City at Wembley this Saturday Evening (Malaysia time Sunday Midnight , 12.10am).

Done with FA Cup, United was next tested on the Champions League Last 16 2nd Leg at Old Trafford. After a goalless draw at Marseille in February, United need to get that job done at home.

That start list excluded Rio Ferdinand and worst still without Nemanja Vidic. With United 2 strongest defender not starting, it looked bleaked for United but Sir Alex had a different idea and navigate United through to the Quarter Final with 2-1 win against Marseille, and that 2 goals came from none other than that Little Pea @Chicharito or known as Javier Hernandez.

Then came the Champions League draw and United was drawn to face English side Chelsea, a side United find hard to beat for the last couple of years.

But it was back to Premier League action first and this time United were up against a spirited Bolton side. 2 minutes before the end, United managed to find the net courtesy of the leading premier league goalscorer Dimitar Berbatov. United finally won 1-0.

It was then time for a 2 week international break and the time had come handy for United side for was down with players out injured to recover from their respective injuries.

2 Week Break indeed was good enough for United who recovered most of their injured players, but starting the April fixtures wasn’t what they wanted.

A tough West Ham United side who was facing relegation battle worked hard and was leading 2-0 at halftime courtesy of 2 penalty scored by Mark Noble, but United wasn’t going to give up a game like that with only JUST 7 matches left to play for the season.

Wayne Rooney started his wonderful free kick on the 65th minute followed by 2 more goals to seal his hattrick but the manner he celebrated his 3rd goal when he scored from the Penalty earn him a 2 match banned. Hernandez later confirmed United win against West Ham at Upton Park with the 4th goal for United to win the match 4-2.

With United Camp on high after a spirited fightback at Upton Park, they travelled to Stamford Bridge hoping to break the curse of having not won there for the last 9 years.

And Rooney again proves that he his back to his best when he scored the only GOAL to seal United 1-0 win against Chelsea on the 1st leg.

Rooney started his 2 match banned and did not play against Fulham last weekend. Ferguson opted to start with Berbatov upfront and that paid off as he scores on the 12th minute and Valencia coming back from his long injury scored 20 minutes later to seal united 2-0 win.

Then came the midweek 2nd Leg Q-final tie against Chelsea at Old Trafford to booked a spot in the Champions League semis. United was all fired up for the match knowing that a win would bring them to their 4th semis appearance in 5 years.

And They did it in what I should say in one of their best performance this season. Praised has to go out to the 37 years old Ryan Giggs, 3 assist to set up all 3 United goals in the 2 Quarter Final tie.

Marvelous performance by a person of his age and not to forget Van Der Sar, Ferdinand, Vidic, Hernandez, Rooney and those who started the match for United. The 2-1 win (goals from Hernandez and Park Ji-Sung )sealed a place in the semis and set up a clash with German Club, Schalke 04 who did brilliantly to outclassed defending champion, Inter Milan in the 2 leg Q-Final tie.

So with 6 matches left to play in the Premier League, Semi Final FA Cup tie with Manchester City this Saturday at Wembley and a 2 legged semis to be played this 27th April and 5th May, Will the treble of 1998/1999 be a reality again? OR perhaps a double trophy to Old Trafford this season or will United ended up with ONLY one TROPHY?

We will all find out soon, but to the Manchester United Squad of 2010/2011, All The Best and You guys did a good job so far!!!

P/S : Still I am plotting/planning a trip to Manchester again soon, and perhaps this time around I will be able to catch a match at Old Trafford! :)

i would be lying if i wasnt dissappointed with how things goes at the moment..

it's just suck cause i actually got that feeling months ago and what happen few weeks ago further justify why my even more growing opinion of doing what i want to do..

i know it wont happen soon but someday, just maybe someday it might come true.. *fingers crossed perhaps in a year time*

and then i learnt how ppl appreciate things that is done on bigger scale and not on things which is done behind the scene..

and for you ppl who judged who i am bluntly and u think you know me very well, think again.. i do not think you know me that well..

I am the one who is going to determine how my life is going to BE!

It's 2-0-1-1 Already!

With a blink of eye it's Two-Owh-One-One already..and It has been more than 3 months since i last blog.

Time flies pretty fast it seems within those month of commonwealth games in October, Asian Games in November and of course the football AFF Suzuki Cup where Malaysia became CHAMPIONS of SOUTH EAST ASIA for the very 1st time beating Indonesia.. woohooo... Congratulations! It has been an awesome Sporting Year!

Let's just recap 2010 in a bit.

- It was the year i decided that i got to move to KL for a career i always have been dreaming of having.. and it really Finally did come through when i accepted the job offer in February.
- It was also a year where i make more new friends
- Also, the year where sporting events in terms of Malaysian athletes making us proud!

Starting with our very own Sukma in May, followed by the World Cup in June, then Youth Olympic Games in Aug, Commonwealth Games in Oct, Asian Games in Nov and Suzuki Cup in December. in between those, of course smaller scale local sporting events.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself very much.

Moving Forward, 2-0-1-1 started with a bang as well... I did not even expected i will be out of the country so early of the year, i was in taiwan for 4 days plus to cover the Badminton Super Series Final as a reporter. writing story and doing a piece of myself in front of camera..

It was really, really an awesome experience for me and thanks to my boss for making it happen for me. Really appreciate the opportunity given even though i was really reluctant at first. as i was informed 3 days before the event start that i got to go to Taiwan. it was surreal, and of course all my time there i did not have appetite for food as i was nervous as hell looking for 2 stories per day. Luckily all went well in the end!

Did not really got to enjoy Taipei but will surely be back to visit Taiwan next time.

and i am so looking forward to my Bangkok Trip next week.. cant wait for it already.

then the week after that, it's CNY already... So looking forward to spend quality time in Penang this time around with moi family and friends!

Let's just hope 2-0-1-1 bring in more surprises, hopefully in a good way and that i keep living on my dreams.

No Resolution or so, but let just hope the World stays awesome and everyone be blessed alwiz! =)

the 1st time i saw my GM was when i report to work the 2nd day (18th feb) after our induction..

he smiled and greet us all.. and say that we could go back home rest and we shall meet up in our new office the next day.

the next day was friday and we met up in the new unfinish renovated office.. there were like 20 till 30ish of us there.. and we were introduce to few department bosses who were there with him already (working with him since last sept/oct 2009)..

and then we were taken to tour the news room, the studio, the empty control room and tat was our day... by noon we could go back home already...

the next few week, we spent our time in office helping out to get stuff ready before we went on air on march 26th.

whenever he saw us, he smiled at us without fail. i remember once when i got early to office on saturday morning and no one was at the office yet and he wanted to print out some documents.. he sought my help to print out by sending the email to me and asked me to print it out..

he thanked me for the help and gently reminded me to delete off the email as it was P&C, i noddded, he smile back and he knew that i understood what he meant.

or some other occasion where my colleagues and i will just laugh out loud talking to each other at our desk and when he past by us at the back, he will just playful said, we should slow our voice down and then we giggled back to which he would turn and smile back..

owh.. and even when 1st few weeks when we went on AIR.. we were running up and down the office to get things ready, he was paving the way for us to walk/run 1st because he knew how hard we were working to get things done...

he never allowed us to call him boss and those calling him boss will be fined RM5 to which the money will be used to buy food to share with everyone.

the last time we had the celebration was when he sent out an email to everyone to celebrate september birthday boys and girls...

7 month plus, of knowing this great man, bad news came in on 27th september, 2.30pm..

we will definitely miss him so much for he was ARENA pillar strength and everyone could just go to him for advise..

seeing his body at the wake today was just unbelieveable, it was as if he was just sleeping and we could just wake him up. i did not shed a tear when i pay the last respect but after that i just broke down into tears..

(his wife is one really tough women, she was trying to stay postive all the while and mentioned to me that, there is just so much positvism that he has instill in everyone of us, i would have to agree)

the office secretary cum manager was the one most affected for she worked together with him all the time.. and she described him as the BEST BOSS SHE EVER HAD...

his presence in each of every ARENians is greatly felt and i do not EVER think anyone could just fit into his place and deliver what he wanted to do for malaysian sports.

i just wish that we could have more time together and guide us to greater heights, but god loves him more but i know we will utilise what you guide us to and aim for further success..

he will be missed by all of us, and i will do my utmost best for the channel.

May he give us the strength and guide us to more success in the future.

Last but not least, may you rest in peace.

this is just so shocking.. I am coming to accept the term on what has happened when i received a phone call from a colleague of mine at 4pm just now.

the big boss, the vp and gm of astro arena had passed away.. i was shocked beyond words.. i dunno what to say..
he was so young . i remembered the last time i saw him was last wednesday, when he was walking around the newsroom area showing visitors around the office..

since i was off thurs n friday and working on weekend, that was the last i saw him and receiving the devastating call today put me utterly shock..

i feel for his family, wife and a young son.. it's just so devastating.. everyone is grieving for we lost someone who is passionate and wanting to build something for malaysian sports.

on his last speech with us, when the whole arena peopls break Fast together, he didnt get to share his vision and mission for arena for the year 2011.. i just hope i could know what his planning was for us..

will miss him dearly and will always remember his arena mantra for us..

"One person success is every one success, one person failure is every one failure!"

matt mckeown died of heart attack at home around 2.30pm.. hopefully we will be able to pay last respect to him before his body is flown back to australia...

may your soul rest in peace.

it just show that life is just so short, i should stop whining and do something good everyday!

i know i shouldnt be whinning and should be thankful but sometimes life isnt wat you want it to be and you are at the end of all the consequences..

seriously am looking forward to my end year plans already and just wishing october and november come and past by quickly.

this coming 2 month is a KILLER.. i repeat, KILLER month..

why am i receiving all the bad stuff when others actually got more benificial stuff.. i am trying to stay postive all this while but i cant anymore... i am always thinking about others.. but not even once people actually trying to think of me and helping me out..

i seriously had enough of that and just want to stop being nice anymore!

i know that i should be sleeping by now... and i had already promised myself that i do not in any circumstances turn on my laptop today.. but as you can already see, mission failed.. like dunno how many times already.

since i am so free and cant sleep yet.. due to the transition of my sleeping time cause i was working morning shift for the 1st time last weekend, and ended up waking up at 5pm on monday afternoon or rather evening already.

so let me just blog on my daily working life..

The night before, alarm was set to wake me up at 8am..

8am : Alarm rang.. hit that snoozed button and sleep again.. ring again after 10minutes, hit the snooze button.. and then slept back.. then hit the snooze button and felt to my lalaland after that..

9.57 am : heard some bird chirping outside my window.. awaken to see my handphone clock that it was 2 minutes to 10am..

10am : quickly get out of bed and head for shower..

10.20am : dressed up, had some cereals and head to work..

10.30am : opening gate and drive to work, while on the way drink a bottle of soya milk..

10.40am : in between driving, observing the stupid people driving and saw that those driving big and expensive cars are the worst driver on the road! (for today la)

10.55am ish : reached office.. and that blardy security guard give me instruction to park at the back.. (like i dunno already.. but still.. why la.. say me like that when i only came back to work today after getting 2 days off)... grrr.. must be someone else who park in front.. and then we all the rest innocent one, kena from that guard.. so NOT FAIR.. as usual, i buat bodoh dun listen to the guard and drive straight off to the back carpark.. YAY!!!

11.00 : walk from the back as usual to office in front.., refused to seat that shuttle van, (to exercise) unless i am super lazy then will ask the uncle for a ride.. hehe

11.05am : greet the Police Bantuan and the receptionist while signing in my attendance to work..

11.08am : reach my desk.. as usual, after off for 2 days.. the freelance who sat at my place will make a mess and i will have to clean up my place so i feel comfy to work..

11.15am : ajak the colleague in front of me who is a chinese to go pray together at the datuk kong in front of office..

11.20am : my colleague came in.. chit chatted with her since din talk to her for days already..

11.30am : start my work.. doing marker for English League Cup. Tottenham vs Arsenal, marker for SNTV, Spanish La Liga and Bundesliga..

1.00pm : headed for Lunch at Victoria station.. not that Victoria.. but a mamak stall beside the office building there.. why is it called Victoria? simple.. because it used to be a train station there.. and we decided to call it Victoria.. nice kan? btw, food are rather cheap over there..than the cafe who i think usually overcharged us!

1.20pm : back to work and check the rundown for the day and at the same time had some snacks and ketupat my colleague brought in..

2.00pm : the proper work Begins, doing graphics, the story super.. the one u see on tv... what is the story about and etc..finding visuals for editors, sending to graphics team what logo and pictures needed for today and everything that needs to be done..

5.30pm : still am doing what i am supposed to do..and oh.. forgot to mentioned, the presenter that was supposed to be in.. was down with high fever.. then one of the reporter got to takeover to present.. scary..

5.50pm : went to control room to prepare for 2minutes buletin update at 6.02pm.. original time was supposed to be at 5.58pm.. but then.. due to some longer programme, the 2 minutes buletin started late lor.. sometimes early.. stupid.. dunno how the Presentation people arranged one..

6.10pm. : everything done and got back to work for 7.30pm news..

6.15pm : check graphics again, insert everything and double check again..

6.45pm : producer check the graphics, spelling and grammar.. EVERYTHING..

6.50pm : recorded the 1st block.. cause the reporter was so nervous to do it LIVE on her debut.. so wat to do.. we record lo..

7.10pm : 1st block recording done..

7.12pm : one last story on athletics just came in.. did the graphics and super..

7.15pm : check the graphics for one last time.

7.17pm : recording of 2nd block..

7.23pm : recording of 3rd and final block..

7.30pm : play out 1st segment, followed by 2nd and 3rd segment../ meantime, check the ticker/crawler for the information. making sure it;s correct..

8.00pm : went back to my desk and did my own diary of news for the day and outstanding things to do..

9.00pm ish : sign off attendance at the front desk and bid goodbye to the polis bantuan on duty.. headed to get car at the back with 3 colleagues of mine..

9.30pm : reach home..

see that how my life goes.. hehe.. ok, i am getting sleepy now.. and see nicol game on live scoreboard now.. hoping she wins.. and if she wins, she will be the world champion for the 5th time.. wooohooo..

so it's a holiday.. independence day where you are supposed to show your patriotism towards your country...but wwhy am i feeling that this year's celebration is a bit gloomy.. and it was also my off day.. and i slept way past 12 in the noon..

after a loooong hard work weekend.. you just wanna be on your bed as long as u can.. and need not worry about work....but i am workin on this weekend again..dunno how many straight weekends i have been working now..

and at this moment of time, i am wondering whether my dreams is being achieved or i am still far away from what i wanted all this while.. sigh.. it's hard to really determine what you really want but i am blessed on what i have now..maybe would just like to improve myself more to have a greater achievement...

I do believe in faith and karma, and hopefully everything just turn right for me..

p/s : i've been confirmed and my year end holidays are approved already!!! woohoooooo...

all in one

i just got the urge to blog when i know i should be sleeping as i will still be working this coming monday morning cum afternoon.... (wat ever u could called it.. as my working hours is werid)
but i know I HAD TO spill all out what i am feeling now..

how my sunday started so great and how it ended sooo badly at 12am midnight!

work was ok... and since it;s still in the fasting month, we finished everything early and went to bazaar ramadhan to buy some stuff.. but on the way back to office from the bazaar.. accident just happenned.. pity the motorist for they both we, (my colleague and i ) assumed they are heading back home after tapao-ing stuff from the bazaar but they were knocked down by car who didnt see them.. damm it.. thank god they were ok..

back to office.. everything was perfecto with the breaking of fast and all.. and went i sat down back to do my work...dang.. the sienna (a tapeless system we are using.. decided to make problems and died on us when it matters the most).. things just got worst from then.....

i was 5 minutes to on air at 11.00pm when my graphics couldnt be play out live and we had to rectify the problems and re-recorded the news again for the repeat at 2am.. damm it..
mind you that we were in a new control room and studio (actually being downgraded and i never hate english premier league so much than now!!!!)

finished with everything... there were glimmers of hope seeing koo/tan winning our 1st ever gold medal in the world badminton championship.. but it wasnt meant to be.. wining the 1st set, they fought in the 2nd set.. but just could not hold on and gave the chinese pair 2nd set game point.. on the 3rd final & rubber set.. they were trailing all the way.. and i was as ever, hoping for a comeback from them.. cause they played one if not THEIR best MATCH out there.. and luck was also not on their side with the net call and all.. but they really give all they have out there.. and it just wasnt meant to be.. even more sad seeing china sweeping all the 5 title for grab!

but wat i was even more sad was that some of the colleagues was actually saying that they are useless and did not win anything before.. hello... do you even watch and follow or read what they have achieved.. i know it cant be compared with the chinese pairs... but hey, they play their heart out there on that match., and you over there just seat down and criticising them without actually knowing what sports is about.. damm it..

no point talking to useless people.. and i just ditch them without speaking a word..cause it's just not worth my time and effort!

see... i pour everything out here.. but congratulations also to our hockey team, also in Paris, winning the 5 Nations Tournament...

and also, congrats to our young Diver, Pandelela Rinong for winning 2 silver medal in the inaugural Youth Olympics Games.. and like the scenario above she lost both to the gold medallist from the same country... BUT i am EVER proud of her.. cause she was injured prior to the game and she still managed to deliver back to our country..Kudos also to our young rhytmic gymnast, lee wan nin.. she managed a decent 4th placing.. considering she was only a wildcard entry.. with more training and exposure.. i am sure one day she will be a force to reckon...

last but not least, still it was a great result considering we never expected koo/tan to go into the finals.. our prediction was only a q-final appearance.. and they did go one step better than their semifinal appearance last year.. I, still do have faith in them to deliver in the upcoming commonwealth games and asian Games.. come on Malaysia, beat the china team at the Asian Games in Guangzhou!

for now, Tennis last GRAND SLAM of the year, THE US OPEN, starting on Monday!!

Blocking Blog

it's been a while since i last blog merely because i cant find that spark or inspiration to write down what i wanted to...

it has always been about writing it and saving it on draft and delete it at the end, cause i am lacking of creative way to write and post it up here.

lots of stuff happenned since i last wrote ie:

a) the winner of the world cup 2010 in SA is no other than Spain, though my team so NEARLY made it.. but luck was not on their side as they had to settle for the runner-up spot again. sigh.

b) and i did went back to Penang for 5 days earlier in August but somehow my trip this time wasnt what i thought it would be.. but anyway, i was glad i DID went back.

c) it's so sad when you was given the promise/hope on one thing and let the one thing taken away from you and now that you have the hope again, and i really wonder will that become a reality or will it be taken away from me as well. Only time will tell.

d) not to mention, the English Premier League is back for 2010/2011 season but why do i not have that spark in me to actually LOVE it like i used to back then.. right now, i just wish i could enjoy more local sports coverage than ever and making local sports the BIGGEST SPORTS in our COUNTRY.

e) is proud that Malaysia finally land a medal (silver) at the inaugural Youth Olympics Games in Singapore. Medal was won by Diver, Pandelela Rinong in the 10M platform event, losing out only to the China Diver. Kudos, and congratulations!

f) is contemplating on what she really wants to do and going for it!

g) really should be changing her blog layout but is so lazy to do that!

h) believer in Karma and what goes around really comes around!

i) and please be yourself and not others, and don't take credit when it's not yours and pretending that you are so smart and what not!

j) last but not least i heart my family more than ever and not to forget my lovely old friends out there! =)

all for now, till i really can actually like to blog again.

from now on, i aint wan to complain so much but look at the bright side of things and help others who need help and be happy.

life is far more than whining because there is just so much you can do than waste your time on it.

i am going to try to be positive and stay positive this coming week. and belive in Karma!

meet up with high school friends and chat is the most awesome thing u can wish for on a sunday, being away from home..and it's father's day which i have missed out on the 3rd consecutive year!
it was a nice time around and i enjoyed it very much.

back to work story, world cup is almost finishing the group stages with one week left and we are moving to the knockout stages and everything "hopefully" will get more exciting.. to be honest,the team do not display any quality football except for some countries and least u expected is england to draw two matches, spain lost and germany's lost..

hahaha.. other than that everything is ok... and trying to cope with working more than 12hrs a day..

i have been thinking a lot...this past 1 month was working my way and learning the curve and everything.. and sometimes it's taking the toll on me.. and the more i am actually on sports, the more knowledge i am losing.. i dunno why.. grr.. wat is wrong with me of late?

i have no watsoever motivation to work and getting sick now is not helping at all..
and now, i am wanting to continue back learning french or spanish course becasue i want to be able to converse in many different languages..
Also, seeing the community or social life here, it got me thinking that i seriously want to give back to the society and work with the community more..

but that would have to take a longer vision and mission to be achieve.. right now.. am thinking on the worldvision.org..

but back to sports, world cup is coming in 3 days time.. i shud be excited but i am not..
i dunno why.. and i am surviving in this big, big, cruel place..

am seriously exhasuted, tired and everything u can name of. exciting week of local sports but working my ass off so hard for this week and finally my day off today and monday.. but i will not get the rest i wanted cause i got to go back to penang for some prayers on monday and back again to kl on that evening itself.
i dun even have time for "me" time already as work is taking my whole time. with the amount of news we are having now, there is no way the schedule could be changed. and next month is even more like a killer month with the World cup and it has been confirmed we are showing 35 matches LIVE.. so there u go.. can u imagine this???
and things happened that i cant even voice out.. plus could u imagine this situation for u to ponder upon. football finishes at 10.45pm. and live news at 11.00pm with only 10 minutes left to edit, putting the graphics and updating hell lots of results. sigh. it's awesome but then.. there shud be a limit to this.
but oh well, i should not complain much.. but haihs.. it could have been a great week had malaysia qualified to the final of thomas cup. but then.. they did their best it is just that their best wasnt BEST enough though.

Congratulations also to the women's team of South Korea for lifting the Uber Cup. u r awesome!!!! beating china is no mean feet but u did it convincingly!!! and see how that arrogant Li Yong Bo said in the newspapers... padan muka.

the BLUES finally Rules after 3 years

1stly, hats off to Chelsea for being crowned the Barclays Premier League Champion of 2009/2010. U deserve it.. *tat's all, no more than that*

2ndly, Malaysia beat Nigeria 5-0 in Thomas Cup without needing to go on court because the Nigerian team did not arrived for the match. I still thought the nigerians will be coming and play as this will serve as a warm up for malaysia.. but now, the thomas cup team got to work extra hard vs Japan for the next group match.. Hopefully malaysia wins... :)

3rd, malaysia lost to australia in the hockey azlan shah cup. sad. I tot malaysia could win. Now malaysia is out for the semis spot.. we should have done better against pakistan the other day.

4th, hectic month but it is kind of sad to see Hockey is beyond malaysia's reach now.. Hope that the Thomas Cup team can produce some magic and win perhaps? although, many are saying it's a miracle to even qualify to semis.. sigh. but again, i am hoping malaysia will go to the FINAL!!!!

It's May Already!

Time really flies by so fast.. it's May already and my 1st time working on 1st may, labour day and working straight for 5 days after i was recall to work on my off day yesterday because they were changing into a new system and we are broadcasting in HD.. but too bad, viewers is still going to see the channel in SD... but our teach and equipments are all in HD so u will bound to see all those pictures terlampau big in your TV.. haha..

So yeah updates on sporting evnts, we have hockey tournament coming up this 6th May, the azlan shah cup and if u r a hockey fans, do stay tuned to channel 801 cause we are broadcasting it LIVE.. and of course more live events comes with more workload as starting on the 6th as well, we are going to have 2 LIVE NEWS.. one at 730pm and one at 11pm...
so if u would like to have an updates sport news, do stay tuned to the channel.. =)

and then the big event, happening simultaneously or rather 3 days after Hockey begins is BADMINTON!!!!!! if u by any chance, cant get into STADIUM PUTRA BUKIT JALIL from 9-16 MAY for the THOMAS and UBER CUP, no worries, ASTRO ARENA, channel 801 is going to show all Malaysia's matches LIVE...

Ok, the reason me writing this post is to express out how my fave team is back in the hunt for the Barclays Premier League title.

After the champions league exit at the hand of Bayern Munich, it was so hard to swallow but life has to go on, you win some, you lose some.. you aint going to win all the time..

and then we drew at blackburn last weekend. it was an agony and i was certain enough that we are out of the title race with Chelsea winning and widening up the points.. and then this week was exceptional.. manchester derby is something you do not want to miss out.. and so, my colleague and I decided to stay back at office after our news at 8pm to watch the match..
and again, we were frustrated that it is going to be a second consecutive stalemate for United.. and with 30 seconds to go, i was muttering to my colleague 30 seconds left on the stoppage time, do u think we can produce something to win it??.. and the rest like they say is history... Paul Scholes pop-up to head in a beautiful cross by Evra.. it was that fantastic. and we were shouting and jumping mad at office. there were only 2 of us in the newsroom, the rest of ppl was upstairs as they have a live show going on with Rugby Asian 5 Nations.. but we were estatic.. we could not believe it.. we finally got that luck and we are now a point behind chelsea after surprisingly they lost to Spurs last nite.. and with 3 games to go, it's GAME ON.
and TODAY at work could not be much better scripted.. it's again, my colleague and I on shift on sunday.. and both of us are MAN U fans.. and she was getting ready Glory Glory Man United Song to be played at her desktop when those Liverpool's and Chelsea's fan walk in to office.. and we couldnt have chosen a better moment.. our big boss who is also a liverpool fan was also in office.. and we played it out LOUD.. and liverpool's fan were closing their ears and pretending that they did not hear anything at all... and the fact tat they perli us Man U fans when we lost to Bayern.. , it was a sweet revenga and definitely a payback time.. Big Boss was laughing/smiling when the song were being played.. haha.. we were satisfied... but again, we are hoping, Liverpool to do us a favour when they meet Chelsea on the 1st of May..

in short, chelsea still has the upper hand now with 1 point advantage and if they do win the League Title, i will be happy for them but Man United will be fighting all the way till d last second and not giving up. even if we did not win, i had an awesome time around with a bunch of ppl who are FUN! today certainly was a good day working!

oh, btw, we should also be proud that OUR mixed Doubles pair won at the Asian Badminton Championship in New Delhi, India.. a great TONIC and a BOOST to our BADMINTON SQUAD! they fought all the way and i am so proud of THEM! congratulations Liu Ying and Peng Soon! =)
and also to the runner up for the WOMEN DOUBLES team of Vivian and Khe Wei...

Nicol David also won in the finals of the Cayman Island Open beating 2nd seed, jenny duncalf in straight sets.

Congratulations to our national heroes and many more wins for them with the upcoming Commonwealth Games and Asian Games this year!

it's been a while since i last wrote in this virtual space.
i don't have the urge to write thus far, for reason that i do not know why. (alhough i have so much in my head that i want to spill out)
i am doing good here in my job or should i say my life? cause life now is on job and i am loving it. but of course family and friends are also not forgotten.

i am keeping my feet on the ground and promise myself that i will not outshown or out-do anyone and just be at my two feet doing what i am supposed to do.

i am not going to procrastinate so much and concentrate on what i got to do and do it right.

guess that's it for now and hoping for another good month ahead.

oh, before i forget, i am going back home soon. cant wait. all the hokkien mee, loh mee, mee goreng, pan mee, nasi kandar, chicken rice, char koay teow, curry mee and koay teow thing... WAIT FOR ME!!!!!

Life away from home

so here you go, an update about life here thus far. It's been going to 1 month since i came and wau, time does past by fast.

first let me talk about where i am staying now. I am staying with a bunch of students and i am renting one medium room to myself. it's very spacious and other than my room, i do not really like the bathroom, the kitchen, the environment and every other thing. That is why i hate coming back home after work.. else if i could i would go out and only come to bath and sleep and the routine keep repeating itself.

so going to the bathroom, it just does not feel comfortable at all and i think the water here are not clean as everytime i will feel itchy over my body and that does not look good.. grr.. i hate that.. and the kitchen.. each and everytime i walk into the kitchen to wash my cup or anything, i just wanna get out of there asap.. it is this bad.. u tell me how can i cook or even do some minor cooking with this condition and owh..interestingly.. it;s like ants everywhere which makes me so pist off and dun wanna touch anything at all.. grrr.. tell me how could i survive.. i rather not..

so with the description above, of course u dun think i would wanna stay looong there.. so there i go searching for rooms for rent, calling and paying a visit to the houses... and finally i found a sort of perfect place to stay and i have paid my deposit.. i would wanna move from here asap.. end of this month, but after discussion with the housemates... i would stay here for another month.. until end of april.. for their sake as they are still in agreement with the hse owner (i'm not, but the person be4 me who rent the room, went out earlier.. and they are the ones who signed the agreement so guess they will have to bear the May rent inorder for them to get back their deposits).. their agreement is till end of May.. but since i think i heard them telling me they will sign new agreement in may.. i assume that the contract ending on april.. so i had talk with my new landlady and she agreed and i am moving to the new place end of arpil.. it's much more secure and there is a security guard patrolling around, walking distance to foodcourt and many shops nearby.. and the house is so so so x100 times cleaner than ever than my current one..

So yeah, i am moving house and although it much more expensive but i think it's worth la.. perhaps 1 year and then i could save $$$ to own a house myself.. haha...

and now it is time to talk about my work.. work has been good.. really good..
what have i done in the past few weeks?
- well, i reviewed Asian Games, Olympic Games, CommonwealthGames and many many more sports event tapes..
- scripwriting
-attended training on how to produce a good and simple script
-attended studio training with the anchor and presenter...

and next thurs is the launching of the channel and we will go LIVE (hopefully) on the 26th March 2010.

how's work place and all?
-the road i take to go work sometimes is either super jammed, so-so or smooth. a 7km from hse to office or vice-versa on normal traffic takes me 15mins.. else it's 30mins or even more...
-my 1st 2 weeks in office is without Air-Cond.. u could imagine how hot it was and the not yet finish renovated work place... in fact i still have not touch my own desk yet.. again it is still not ready.. using other ppl punya desk now..cause Mezzanine floor(intermediate floor between Ground floor and 1st Floor) have been done.. my office on ground floor and the studio also not really completed yet.. hopefully the contractors get it completed by next week else everything will be in haywire and everyone wil be on lots of pressure to learn everything up really fast..
-i am excited and quite scared as well but hopefully everything will be fine.
-colleagues have been really helpful, friendly and easy to talk with.. :)

Guess that basically sumarize my 1 month here now...

just a quick word or two and will promise to update this space on my new transition to KL in a week time? barring any activities this weekend.

many have been asking me how's life's in KL and i dunno how to explain.. i find it hard.

But just to let everyone know.. i am loving my job but not the life as in where i am staying or wat..i am moving to a new place soon. it's better, safer and much better? haha..and i am not tat homesick anymore. Somehow i feel at peace with myself.. just need to be more enlighten.. tat's all..

and i wanted to post pictures up and change layout and all.. but my photoshop and illustrator could not be installed and i cant do any graphics or editing before posting it up here.. so that have to wait until i figure out the prob.. and i basicaly know is my OS prob.. and i would have to reformat my laptop again which i am reluctant to do right now cause it means i will have to install all the software back which is time consuming and i am lazy.. tat is the job of my bro.. so gotta wait when i am going back to PG.

for the time being, i did learnt a lot in terms of life and all.. and still braving the momentum of being away and alone in this big city.

It is THAT terrible. i am missing my family very much especially mummy dearest.
and how come i did not feel this way at all the last few times i was away and i think this is the most difficult one as i know this is the phase of life where i am going to face ALONE.
Alone in this place where i freak out everytime i walk on the street, driving and what not.
The last few times when i was away, i wasnt feeling tat bad, because i knew that i would be going back to Penang.. but it is completely different now because i know that once i am out here.. i would not be going back to Penang and stay there permanently.

I knew if i had stayed back over in Penang, i would not have to worry on everything because everything i wanted is there but i feel i needed moments to be away from everything and to start anew and to embark on the new transition in life.. Career life.

maybe perhaps work hasnt kicked in yet and that i have more time to myself and i worried to much? what if i could not make it here? what if's and what not.. i hate that feeling very much.

I know what i have got to do to make things right but i just cannot think that being away from family is THAT difficult. guess, i will just have to go through this and let time heals everything.
I will try to make an effort to go back to Penang as often as i can.. :)

and so to stay positive and not rant to much, i am praying for a good week of work ahead!

i actually did cry when i was coming to KL on tuesday because i knew that once i stepped out from my hse i wont in anyway be back there for real.. even if i do go back.. it would be for a short holiday and all..it is just so hard when weeks be4 that, i am actually looking forward to be here in KL, but when the time comes, it was just so hard, no thanks to the CNY festivity that makes me wanna stay longer in Penang.

so now, here i am in the big city and was stuck in highway and only reached PJ after 7 hours of drive from Penang, which usually take me 4 hrs.. I unpacked and unload all my stuff and just call it a day.

on wednesday, i officially start my day at work. I was using the GPS to navigate me but somehow, it sort of fail me or i navigate it wrongly and i had to me a u-turn, detour here and there and was there just in time for the induction program to start.
the 2nd day was also induction but good news is.. it was only half day. and i was free after that..
and on friday, it was a briefing on the channel with the VP of the channel in my new office.. it was only an hour with the tour around.. and that was it. I was free the whole day.. few of us decided to have a talk together and we went to the nearby cafe.. everyone also as i am dunno what to expect from the new channel but the difference is.. all of them are with experience in this field except for me...

so yeah, basically that was it.. and would let you guys know more when the time comes.. =)

so yesterday was a good day MINUS the few minutes of drama that i had with the biatch be4 i headed for the astro fest.. i wish that u guys were here with me so all of u can go the the fest.. food was free, concert, lion dance, foot reflexology, manicure, calligraphy, games and many many more....

So, here is to hoping for a new week to come and learning more as i can...

toast to a new beginning

remembered how i wrote when i was dreading for time to quickly turn to august 2010 and how i rambled on my job? wait no more.. in a week time.. i am gone for good..for REAL!

** i finally made the decision to resign from my job and had done so**
although, i am sorry to leave, but a decision has to be made, and you don't just leave but you leave because you are a step closer to chase your dreams, and of course, being a person that i am, if you had the chance, wont you not take it? so yeah, i am now gearing up to a new beginning and cannot wait to start off a fresh in the year 2010, and coincidentally, the year of tiger in the chinese zodiac...(d year i was born) RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I was in a state of euphoric, elated and all when the news broke out to me that i have gotten the job, on that day itself it was marred by the stupid administration in the company that i am working with because there is a 2nd level escalation which i do not think it is our fault. screw up that, because the happiness in me just by pass/or enough to make me think the decision to leave at that point was a FANTASTIC decision.

so yeah, decision has been made, most ppl there was surprised (after they got to know last week that i am leaving, cause i kept it a secret and only my boss knew when i tendered in my resignation) and they don't think that i am a person who is passionate, outdoor going and all.. maybe because i was keeping a low profile all these while and did not want to associate myself with them.. never mind then, because i had promised and told myself before, no matter what happens, in 1 year time, i would be out of my misery there! so yeah, since i am out early, it is good! i cannot cannot be like them!!!!!

i am looking forward to the new challenges and sad in a way that i would be leaving Penang soon, real sooon...
i will miss my family, friends and food dearly.. (3F)...

Year 2009 in Review

in a split second, 2-0-0-9 will close it's curtain and the rest like they say is history.

2009 has been THE YEAR for me thus far in my life, this is where i stepped my mark and actually am facing the world, the reality.

it's the year i officially finish my studies and graduated with a degree that i wanted to do all this while.

it's the year i had the chance to travel abroad, learning different culture and experience the differences these world has to offer.

it's the year, i finally get to visit the stadium of manunited.. dream realized...

it's the year where reunion, meetups and everything is ever possible.

it's the year i finally secured a full-time job with a decent salary and giving me an opportunity for a whole new experience.

all in all. this has been a great year.. A year to cherished and remember for a very long time.

To a great year 2010 ahead and may all of us have a blessed one!

in the midst of clearing up pictures from my laptop and decided to put my memories in pictorial.. it's been a good year and looking towards a brand new 2010.. ;)

my previous travel log stops at my visit to leeds for the educational trip on aqua vermi ponics. after leeds, we make our way to blackburn and the journey throughout was good.. all of us were hungry and decided to stop at the rest area along the highway for lunch.

of course being at the land, where fish and chip is their typical food like rice is to us.. we ordered fish and chip.. only to realize that fish n chip may no longer be associated with england as chicken tikka masala is fast becoming the nation's favourite...

we continued the journey to blackburn and went to this shop where 2nd hand shoes is really at a bargain price.. found and got myself a pair of flat that cost 99pence..

we then navigate our way to cumbria looking for the place where we are having our nite there.. it;s a countryside place.. really out of city with beautiful and awesome scenery.. mountains, stones and lamb, of course...

after that we went out to search for our dinner.. u'll be surprised how many ppl were there at the country side and almost every restaurant are fully booked.. we search deep inside.. and finally found a restaurant with the name of 'The Fat Lamb'.. as the name of the restaurant, of course.. i ordered lamb steak as my dinner.. nice.. nice..

other dishes.. and a dessert.. pudding rhabab... ( dunno the spelling) but it's really nice and a seasonal vege that only grows in the spring.., if i;m not mistaken..

fat lamb... we headed back to the rest hse and call it a day..

the next morning.. we had typical English breakfast before checking out.. and headed to the nearby place for a trout fishing.. dr hakimi taught me how to fish as i never fish before..

so there i was.. with rod in my hand.. and then flung that rod to the lake and waiting for the trout to eat my bait.. waiting.. waiting.. and voila, suddenly i feel this heavy strength of thingy bitting my rod.. i quickly ask for help.. and as advice by dr hakimi, i managed to wind back the rod slowly.. and i saw the trout flipping here and there.. with a stick in dr's hand.. he beat the fish to death.. and slowly taking the fish out from the hook..

me with my catch of my life. hahaha.. 1st time fishing.. i think i would love fishing now. even if i dun get to catch any fish.. i think it's a wonderful experience.. and fishing is actually a way to teach us about life.. and how we must be patient and perseverance does pay off... ;)

after trout, we were on our way to lake district.. on the way, we saw lots of windmill along the highway and that kind of remind me of teletubbies.. so peace and serene..

at lake district.. and my north england trip came to an end.. we then headed to Lancaster for a while and straight back to Manchester...

another nite in Manchester before we flew back to Germany..

I would surely visit england again next time.. and of course..to watch Manchester United live in Old Trafford!!!

i hate the fact that i can be real happy and the next second.. i could be very emo.

i hate the fact that (not rejecting but merely asking for a reschedule interview because i cant make it for the interview 2moro because i am having a meeting with the managers and i cant freaking abandoned that).. so i am plea-ing for that person to call me back for a reschedule because that is my dream company and still is.. the place i wanted so bad in the 1st place. sil vous plait, call me back!!! i am waiting for that calll..

i am having a difficult time thinking because my work laptop got crashed last week with the reasons i do not know and don't want to know and i feel like an idiot because not having my laptop around means i cannot work which makes people around me looking at me (that interprets that i am either stupid or an idiot and makes them thinking that i know nothing about computer that it got crashed barely 2 months since i got hold of it).. it sickened me because

a) i am not a person who do not know anything about computers because i know how to format and know how to fixed motherboard, graphic cards, ram, hard disk, sound card and whatever shit into the CPU)

- sometimes it's better to left everything unsaid so that i can act like i am stupid and not one will ever ask me.. cause they know they will only get 1 answer from me.. which i.. I DO NOT KNOW.. SORRY..

b) i wanted to do give my best and all to my current job but people just don't give me the chance at all..

- so it's better that i just do what i can and look things at the smaller scale... the more i think, the more i get demoralised and hopeless on my current situation.

i want to be a volunteer for a NGO and am trying to look for ways to help them out.

i realized that i have so many stuff that i wanted to post up for year 2009 but i just couldnt find a decent way to put it here.. and as a reminder that 2009 was a ending and start to a brand new aspect of my life.

i have so many things going round my head but i just couldnt put them into words here.

praying that next week is going to be a good week ahead and that i have the strength to face people that i have to face weekly.. and please dun make my new week miserable. thank you.

life can be real short, sometimes you wonder what can be done, yet we sometimes postpone doing things that we can finish instantly.
and then we only reflect back with regrect things that we didnt do.
i hope this is a lesson learnt for me to do things i wanna do now rather than postponing it.

a month to not whine but rather producing results. and hoping for the best to come. ;)

i breeze thru whole of last week without my boss around.. and then this week was only working for 3 days.. and 2 days off.. how perfect to end this month.

i cant wait for another month to start. come whatever challenge that is being given.. i will ease thru and hopefully begin to adapt to working life..

and to the beautiful skies above.. i so love the fact that the earth colours of blue, green and white certaily cures your unhappiness away.. looking things at the bright side, patience and perseverance..

i hate this feeling.. and i am having this conflicting emotions with myself lately.

going down memory lane

I was looking thru my high school magazine of Year 2005 and i found pages on "a look inside the mind of a georgian"..
and then all the memories kept coming back.. i wish i could just go back one day and experience the life of a high school student again.. those were really the good-old-days of my teenage years.
so at that particular page.. i found questions that were asked to the former georgians..

-- have a few.. mr ang who was my bm and form teacher for three years.. but i think i would have to give it to Miss LKY.. the maths teacher i had in F2.. who never fails to give us much hwork and of course.. did scolded me ones and i had to apologise to her.. i wonder where is she now???

3) What was your favourite food in the school canteen?
-- no need to hesitate.. definitely surely is Pak Ali's food.. u can never ever forget the nasi goreng, nasi lemak and NASI AYAM on TUESDAY!!!!! until those tender ruins the canteen stall owner.. grrr...

4) Draw yourself as a georgian...
- hehee.. cant draw rite now.. next time..

5) Which place in school was your favourite spot?
- in front of koperasi.. or somewhere quiet..

although work is not fun as i wanted it to be.. but life without work is rather awesome.. i attended high school form 5 reunion, form 6 reunion, going out with bunch of my closest friends, cousins, special thanks to ms lee for listening to all my ramblings during lunch time, attended raya celebration at my coursemate hse in seberang jaya, the awesome mee udang tat her mum cooks, thanks so much.. u know who u r =), bday celebration with friends of mine and not to forget my family who have been really supportive of wat i do..

it's been almost a month since i started working. i know i should at least update a bit... but i choose to let this little ramble space of mine blank. i dunno wat to write.. happy that i started working? to be honest the answer is a big NO NO.. i dunno why... i couldnt even feel that i like my job. i am tyring to like it but to be honest, i cant.. everytime i tried to ask ppl things i dunno.. i just get ignored.. or they will have this look stamped at their face "how come is this girl so stupid".. so many terms i don't understand.. and everytime i tried to ask around.. people will look at me as if i am dumb.. so wat if i am dumb damm it.. screw you ppl who dont even wanna teach me when i asked.. you guys have been working there for freaking years compared to me who is working less than a month.. of course there are many many things that i dunno... so who to blame? me myself? i am really trying but you people around never give me the chance to learn. I never wanted to give up easily without trying.. but everytime i tried so hard.. i am falling even further.. and questioning myself day by day.
grrrr... somebody.. save me... =(
let me give another month a go.. before i decide on something else...

painstaking decision

after more than a week of contemplating.. i have come to make a decision. I hope it is the best choice i have make now. sigh. and wat a way to mark my decision day when i was handled a piece of summon by the police. damm it.. grr.. wonder it is a blessing in disguise.. arghh..

there are more interviews i wanted to go and try out.. but the "what if" question pop to my mind.. what if i rejected this.. and i wont get tat.. what if this is what i want.. and if i rejected it.. will i still have the chance??.. so many questions to ponder upon.. even after i have made the decision.. still.. there is 2 more interview i would like to go.. damm it.. hopefully i wont regret this.. haihs..

I will start working this Tuesday and yeah, it is not my field of study.. i guess some of you might have know it already.. IT's in PENANG and I am staying put here at the moment.. I shall give it one year to try out.. if all else fail.. and that i cannot perform.. i will be going back into my field of study.. *fingers crossed*...

and i can only hope for the best after making this decision.. i know this is NOT what i wanted.. but it's the BEST at the moment.. considering that i basically know what direction i want to go to, for the next 3 years time. =)

it;s the last quarter of the year already and yet i have not made up my mind.. very indecisive of me.. but anway, i will will will finalize everything by this weekend and go for IT.

so many things to write... yet when i click on the new post button.. it's as if everything i wanted to write here. disappear from my mind..

to stay in penang or to go over to kl.. this two places is in my mind for weeks already. I wish was was more firm, determined and decisive. but yet i am so frail, weak and so indecisive to make a decision.

until a decision is made.. let's hope to a beginning of a good month.. and joy! =)

Educational Learning Experience

when i was in manchester back in june.. i went for some visiting trip with sakiinah's parents and it was one fruitful learning trip.. one tat i will remember and hope to be able to share some information that i learnt from the experience.

the pictures above was taken 7am in the morning.. in front of the University of Manchester hostel.. where i curi tinggal.. it was good and truly an experience to be able to stay there for 2 nites.. since it was the end of semester already, there were many parties going on.. it looks scary cause i havent seen any scenario like tat in our country before.. everyone dress up and get into the mood of partying wee midnite.. while we were walking back from our dinner cum supper.. so many beggars on the road and even waiting to pounce on the leftovers and asking for money.. it was real scary.. and people driving in the car honking and screaming at your direction and everything weird plus the cold weather at nite..

so my 2 nights in manchester included shopping and of course. touring manunited stadium.. the third day was reserved for a road trip up north england.. but before that we stopped by Leeds to visit an intergrated fish farming place.. my 1st thought was tat.. how the people managed the place and seeing how they actually work the farming thingy out... the place, located very inside.. near to hills.. away from Leeds' town.. my bad.. as i cant really remember the place really well..

boy was i wrong went i step into tat place.. it was nice and peaceful.... we were then introduced to the person in charged, Alberto who briefed us everything about the place.. later only did we know that educating troubled kids, or young teens with juvenile cases is one of their long term plan to curb these kids from going into the wrong path in life. most of these kids have problems at home.. and these leads them into thinking that they are unwanted, useless, wortheless and lacking of love from their parents - more children and teenagers are prone to taking drugs, stealing and etc.. with initiative taken.. this 'troubled kids' is getting a chance to learn things tat they might not learn in the classroom.. they are given the chance to go into farming, gardening and many more..

some of the plants and fishes in the green house...according to alberto.. many of these kids.. have not even seen a fish in their life.. and all of them who came here.. have the oppurtnity to touch and feed the fishes.. by interacting with the fishes.. these kids feel warmer and become "soften" at heart.. as they feel at peace communicating with the fishes..

see the bamboo watering system on the top right hand.. i personally like tat one very much.. =) and on the down left hand corner is the chairs and tables made by the students who go there for the classes and etc..

After hours spent in the place.. i actually got to know how life it is for the hard ones and the one tat is not portrayed by the mainstream media.. what we are only seeing sometimes is the luxury of others and yet there are so many unfortunate people out there regardless of where they live... be it in the developed country or undeveloped country..everyone just want to achieve something in life to be proud of and be happy.. yet this simple and easy task is so hard to be accomplish... when we get something.. we want more.. and that's where greed comes in.. and we are so not easily satisfied..

What is the meaning of life anyway?

sometimes.. it leads me to think that money is not everything and i am not supposed to be choosy.. but yet in life we are so into material stuff that we forgot that when you have the basic necessities (you can eat, 'shit' [sorry for the harsh, rude word, cant thing of any...] and sleep) it's all enough.. without these 3 basics stuff.. you cant go anywhere..

decision, option, changes

it has been a roller coaster 2 weeks for me.. after convocation.. i went straight to kl.. tat is for some short vacation.. seeing around kl.. visiting museum, petrosains, skybridge.. and what not..

then i came back.. got phone calls for me to attend interview..

so i went again this week.. came back late last nite.. and i got one job offer.. and i am comtemplating whether to take it or not.. it's in bukit jalil.. but will require me to travel around kl, pj quite often.. so meaning.. i have to bring car down to kl.. then rental.. and then food.. and petrol.. it is certainly not cheap.. but the prob is.. it is quite like a job i have been looking for.. and it is a field which i really wanna go into it. haihs.. should i go for the job because i like it? or should i consider all those break down of expenses?? damm it.. i hate decisions.. when i didnt get any jobs yet.. i will be looking for jobs.. then when finally i got an offer.. there are so many other things to think about.. i hate making decision.. and i never will get the right on..

but anyway, i am welcoming back a friend of mine from germany...

Barclays Premier League 2009/2010

today marks the start of the 2nd season of the Barclays Premier League, formerly known as the English Premier League.

i am sure many would make predictions of the outcome.. and of course i am too..

i would of course wanna see my fave team winning it for the 4th consecutive time.. but i am not sure if they could do it or not.-minus ronaldo and tevez.. i am sure we will bounce back.. but not so fast this season.. i just think it might be a rebuilding this season to be prepared for the 2010/2011 season.. and loooking at the transfer of players for the big four club( mu, ars, chel n liv).. i would say that Chelsea are the strongest favourite to win.. followed by manu, arsenal and liverpool.. and i wont be surprise if arsenal can spring something up =).

Hope that come May next year.. we will know who the winner is.. but of course.. hope that it will be an entertaining new season.. =)

mix boiling point

*this is an emo post and truly from my heart.. if i did offend anyone.. am sorry.. i didnt mean to.. again.. it;s everything that i pour out from my heart..**

it was an emotional 2/3 days.. mix with happy, sad and excited feelings.. and it's hard to explain.. one moment i would be grateful, the other i will be rebellious, and crying and enjoying and many stupid mix feeling boiling inside me..

to tell the truth, i am missing lots of my 10 weeks life back in germany.. i like the living lifestyle over there... and i wish i could have tat again.. it hurts tat i am back here in malaysia and yet i cant find myself.. although it's hard adjusting to climate, culture there at first.. but at the end i got used to it already and i wish how 10 weeks would go by really slow.. but again.. i have enjoyed the time there.. i know i should not look backward.. i should look forward.. if i ever have a choice.. i would choose to go away from home and try to explore more about the world..

i am ever growing frustrated with my progress in looking for a job.. seriously.. there is not even one phone call or anyone calling me to attend interview after so many countless applications i have submitted.

i look like an idiot looking for jobs.. i dunno why..i dunno wat qualities employers are looking into... how do i secure a job? and etc.. it's been really frustrating.. i hate tat feeling.. but tat again. if i ever get a job.. will tat job be in the career path tat i want?? should i just look for a part time job 1st and take my time to look for the job i really really want?? arghhh.. i wish i have answers to all my queries..

i am ever excited for my own convocation.. yet for the fact tat many of my frens have managed to get a job and working and looking happy and all.. deep inside, i am happy for them but at the sametime i cant help for the fact tat it is so hard for me to find a job... i have been keeping a positive mindset but my heart is very fragile.. and sometimes when my heart cant take it anymore.. i break down.. all alone by myself crying.. it's been hard to put on a brave front facing so many people tat once i'm all alone.. all the negativity comes in.. and tat is the breaking point.
but for the time being.. to be honest i am thinking of taking up the work and travel program and to explore different things in life rather than the conventional working life.. where i will go to work and the routine and mundane life continue again and again and again daily. and then i thought of taking up postgraduate studies overseas and work my way up again..
again, tat is just what i am thinking right now.. but still there are many things that is not conclusive yet.. unless i can land a job soon.. then every doubt will be put to rest.. else.. i must have a contingency plan for everything..

favourite team lost in charity shield to chelsea.. on penalties.. but am hoping for a competitive 2009/2010 premier league season, plenty of tennis and of course the World Badminton Championship this week..

it was one of hannah's episode showed on Disney Channel tat led me to go online to listen to the movie soundtrack.. and then i got addicted and went online to watch the movie. The movie was ok.. not bad.. but what i like the most was the lyrics from few songs in the movie.

and then it made me realised how many things i missed out cause i wasnt looking forward for something new.. but i was literally missing things that was from the past..

Two of my close friends got a job this week. I am so absolutely happy for them! i know they have really searched hard to find the job and i wish them the VERY best. I really hope their career will spark off from this job. Congratulations once again!!!

As for me, i am still searching for the right one. I will never know which is the right career path for me to go to .... and i'm actually kind of relaxing and taking things slowly. I am glad that both my parents are understanding enough and did not push/nagged me into getting a job quick. but it is me who is pressuring my ownself sometimes. but anyway, i just learnt a sentence today, no matter how sad or happy life is, life still has to go on. so why not put a smile on the face everyday and make everyday a happyday =)

right now, i am actually sick.. i dunno why.. but everyyear around the month of july/august, i will fall sick once..dunno why. so here am i again.. at home.. doing nothing n resting lor.. with crysanthemun drink tat i boiled, a book on "How to do everything with MOffice", and wonderful songs to cheer me on the friday afternoon..

so many things to write but my mouse spoiled on me and i havent buy a new one yet. will get one real soon. mouse is like my right hand.. myassist.. it's so hard losing it.. i wanna post more pictures here.. but without a mouse.. i cant edit the pixies to put it up.. but THE hardest is to lose someone than anything else..
Makes me ponder upon.. what life really is? i was saddened by the death of Yasmin Ahmad. She was(so bad to use tat past tense) and still is my favourite film director in malaysia. I was having this dream of working with here someday. but now it will just remain being unfulfilled dreams.But god is good, she will not suffer thru the pain she gone thru.. god brought her back earlier as she have done what she have to do in this world. may you rest in peace and hopefully may we be gifted with a talented person like you again=)
i only met her once and listening to what she said was just marvellous. i even recorded the talk tat she gave and wat she siad will be a good piece of advise to me.. one advise tat i will remember forever....

a peek into an unemployed life

so u know you are the above when u are so free with nothing to do and ended up chatting and watching television all the time.. or even better.. sleeping all the time.. why? simple because u dun have the money to go out and that going out for once will burn a hole in your pocket.

i am not complaining la.. cause i did not make any effort to look for a job also.. so who to blame rite.. me myself lor.

Currently i am following TVB new series, Burning Flame 3.. and up to EP14 d.. and u know wat.. i dun like the story line on why Wong Hei's character is being portrayed as if he is so weak, annoying, perfectionist and all.. and that Kevin Cheng get to be the man. the HERO all the time.. other than tat.. it's ok.. but why do u have to sacrifice everything to make Kevin the MAN!!!

and u know wat.. i just got an idea on how to write to apply for a job in my so called dream company... it's crazy.. i know.. but i will just give it a try.. it will not be the formal one.. but it will be a crazy one. I have been figuring and drafting how to write it.. all is in my mine.. when i finally pen in down.. and if i EVER did get an interview or something.. i will write something here.. else.. it's a secret between me and tat company which i would want to submit my application. hahahahaha.

on other note, convocation is set to be on Wednesday, 12 August , 3pm.

i was on a week holiday in KL.. main reason being that i went there solely to watch Manchester United Live in Action at Stadium Bukit Jalil. but that is not the main talking point of the entry today.

rather.. while i was in KL, i was disconnected from the internet, newspaper n all.. i know.. being in the city.. i was and should have exposed myself more to the news surrounding.. but the place i was staying with my cousin did not have internet connection and that i wasnt bothered to buy a newspaper. I did saw a few times when i passed by the newspaper stand and saw some tall building and pictures of people crying. later did i only know that, a person is death and he was found dead outside the building of MACC.. and damm sad right.. he was just like us, any ordinary malaysian who was summoned for questioning by the authority. and then he came out dead. i dunno what happened but my immediate thinking was; he was murdered..

it doesnt make sense at all on why would he kill himself while he have a fiancee and an unborn child waiting for him.. to start a family.. it was so tragic... and as for his mohther, losing his son in this manner is such a horror.. i think that was the grief i felt when i saw all the newspaper and seeing his mother so distraught on the tv.

what have our nation become? i dare not think..when people asked me.. what is good about your country? i just got stucked there.. i dunno wat to answer.. i would want to say something nice and good but my heart doesnt say so.

i am just speechless, clueless to say anything.. those happy moments i had for a week in KL just go down like tat. may u rest in peace.. TBH..

daily chores

Dear Diary,

I have been doing things for the past 2 weeks but somehow i feel the things i have been doing is not productive enough.

Let me see what have i done..

a) watching tv which includes everything from news, drama, cartoons and sports.

b) back-up all my photos in the cd from 2002 till present... thousands of memories flow back.. it was so good!

c) reconstructing resume and cover letter for jobs application.

d) wash clothes and unpack stuff from luggage

e) combining various pictures to print out .. and still counting.. almost 300++ pixies now..

f) reading books on branding

g) learning to use microsoft office in more detail

h) playing PSP

i) cooking

j) going out with frens..

k) makan and makan and makan.

put on weight lately.

on another note, my convo is on 12th Aug(wed) 3pm.

i am graduating.. putting on the robe and all but somehow.. i am not even excited on the prospect of convocation as i think there are still something out there which are more important than this.

since i am so free, i have been doing lots of thinking.. sometimes negative stuff just hit your mind and you just cant imagine how something bad could turn to disaster and wondering how good things can become even better things.. why are things happening like this and not like that?

anyway, i decided to let go the usm offer to further master and i am glad i did that. i do not think it was a bad decision though. I feel i need that working experience to bring me forward. I also believe that i can get a job that i really want and i would take my time. No one is putting the pressure on me except my ownself. so, let me just lay back.. take my time to learn some skills like photoshop-ing, illustrat-ing, microsoft office-ing and all before i really really berjaya untuk menghadapi dunia luar yang memang kejam... jadi saya hanya boleh mempersiapkan diri saya sebaik yang mungkin.

apa yang akan berlaku kelak berada di luar kawalan saya.. saya hanya membuat yg terbaik.

sekian sahaja rentetan saya kali ini. saya akan pergi ke satu escapade hujung minggu ini untuk merehatkan minda.. sehingga berjumpa lagi..

Another Epic Wimbledon Final

I watched last year Wimbledon men singles final where roger federer lost to rafael nadal. And this year, he was playing second best to Andy Roddick.. but unfortunately for Andy Roddick.. one mistake.. and roger federer won.. in another epic 5 sets thriller.. 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-3 and 16-14.

it was really really an incredible game of tennis.. I was rooting for Roger Federer all this while and i felt sad for roddick for he played a magnificient game. he was really unlucky. He should have won the tiebreak on the 2nd set.. but he blew his chances away. I think the 2nd set was the turning point and federer gain momentum from there.. and won it.. of course.. roddick didnt give up though.. he came back in the fourth set and managed to break federer to win 6-3 on the fourth set.. then on the final set. you can see that both were very strong.. physically and mentally. no one wanted to give in.. federer could not even break on roddick's serve and it looks more likely that roddick will win they game. Unfortunately.. towards the 3oth game.. after 4 hr..15mins on court.. Federer finally managed to break roddick. and championship point to roger federer.

Federer was again delighted.. and now crowned wimbledon champion for the 6th time and become the GREATEST Player EVER in tennis history.. surpassing Pete Sampras record of 14th major... 15th Major for Roger Federer... and hopefully counting =).. when he lost out on last year wimbledon.. more doubt whether he could come back stronger to win another major again.. and then came the US Open... he won against andy murray.. it was his 13th major.. then australian open.. he lost in the final to nadal.. but still he came back to win the French Open, finally won the only grandslam he have not won before.. so there was it.. his 14th Grandslam.. and now, of course.. winning the Wimbledon 2009 to take his tally to 15th Grandslam and thus becoming THE greatest tennis player of all time. What a magnificent athlete he is.. Congratulations, Roger Federer..

and to Andy Roddick. i really do feel sorry for him.. He was really the better player today.. but luck was not on his side... he lost it.. but i think he would come back stronger and hopefully try to win another grandslam again. All the Best.

so there you go.. my 2 weeks of glu-ing myself in front of the TV watching Wimbledon..and of course.. due to the time different.. i have to stay up till wee morning watching it.. but it was good nonetheless... =)

on another note, i actually did attend a job interview.. i went for the 2nd intw with the MD.. but sadly i did not go well prepared.. it was my fault.. (i went with the mentality.. if i didnt get the job.. never mind.. i just am going for fun and experience).. and of course.. it back-fired on me.. i was low on confidence, nervous and everything negative.. i should have done better. i am at fault cause i think i would have gotten the job had i did research on the theory side.. sigh.. sigh.. but i shall learnt from this and improved myself.. i really regretted it.. and wat the MD said.. is still very very fresh in my mind.. sigh..

again now.. i really really dunno what i want in life.. all this while.. i though i knew what i want.. but now.. i am in dilemma again.. and not knowing where i would go from here.. sigh.. i have to come back stronger and job hunt again. =)

this few days i was reading the news on how my favourite football club has money to spend on ronaldo's transfer to real madrid.. but sadly there are no one to be bought. i thought that was rather funny. and madrid keep on buying players like there are no more players in the team anymore.. you tell me..?? buying so many superstars in a team of only 11 people who can play in the pitch at one time.. how can you dump all inside the starting eleven?? funny la.. and to have all superstars playing together?? i doubt it la.

and why are the media making a big fuss towards manunited??? i still believe in ferguson.. even though the departure of ronaldo did leave a BIG or rather HUGE gap. i do not think it's time to panic and fuss about. stay calm and cool.. buying a no name player is good... after all.. who would have heard about cristiano ronaldo 6 years ago.. it was then Ferguson who turn him into one of the best footballer in the modern era.. why cant ferguson buy someone who is inexpensive and again turn him into a superstar.. then of course spending less money.. and to groom the player into a superstar.. and sell at a higher price.. is also a good business.. =)

i still believe and confident manunited will make it through the next season.. if they dont win anything. then consider it as a rebuilding season.. like the economics.. there are alwiz up and down.. so why fuss?? and i doubt madrid will be good either.. so many superstar.. how do you control them??.. with so many ego-maniac.. and ronaldo is one of the example..

anyway, i am excited to be going down to KL to watch manunited in action.. although there will be no ronaldo.. there are other players worth to watch.. and hopefully ferguson managed to finalised his team before the start of 2009/2010 season.. best of luck!!!

A Week After

I am back in Penang for almost a week d. It has been a busy one week with coping of the jetlag at the same time. Partly thanks to our dear Malaysia Airlines for delaying my flight in Frankfurt airport and i was stuck there for almost 13 hours. damm it. i wanted to write something good about Malaysia Airlines but what happened when i touched down in Penang just change it.. because my luggage was tempered.. and that my lock was cut off and my zip was not there anymore. stupid things must have happened in KLIA. DAMM IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so after a week back here. i realised that some things changed and some things don't.. but the weather of course has been really really HOT with the hazy skies...

and after a much much consideration and going from one department to another department.. i finally decided not to pursue my master's degree and yes, i am officially jobless. but i am in no hurry to find a job as i am taking this time to enjoy and relax 1st.

screw you ppl who asked me questions that sound so panicky and what not... i have my own life and of course i have my plan drawn out.. so please.. dun ask me crazy questions again. if i like i might answer your questions.. else.. you know why i dont answer questions.. enough said.

Trip to Manchester

I went for my much-awaited mini trip to Manchester. The return flight tickets from Airport Weeze(near Dusseldorf cost about 10.50 pounds). so there i was last thursday, excited to start my journey from germany to england.

about 1.5 hours later, i arrived at the manchester airport. AWESOME-ness.. and then board a bus to the place where i am staying.

this pics above was taken in the city centre.. where we went for a walk and had brunch cum lunch before we headed to (my) very own must go place!!!=)

we had our food at RICE.. a place run by a korean, if i am not mistaken.. I had the Indian Kashmiri Lamb Chop that come with rice and salad. nice... with tea, it is 6.5pound

and the next thing on the MUST GO list is to board a bus from the city centre to Old Trafford, the Stadium of Manchester United football club.. when the bus got nearer.. i got so excited.. and more excited! cant believe that i actually is there already.. the feeling was really surreal...

and of course many pictures taken.... how could any fan resist that.. it was really really good.. i would wish tat i would be able to watch a match here one day... *fingers crossed*

and went shopping around arndale.. and have a baked potato for tea...

then at nite for dinner.. we had a really nice meal in Kebabish.. food was really nice..

i had a good 3days. Cologne, Bonn, and Siegburg. Eat till i was really bloated. All was good. but its a weird feeling inside me. Nope, i did not buy anything.. not any souvenirs to remember. I just dont have any passion anymore. I just wanna go home. many things.. so hard to describe. cant wait till i touch down in malaysia. =)

out of boredom the other day.. went to the park to play in the playground.. and then back at home.. seeing so many flowers growing.. i plucked them and made my name out of it..

halfway at the office, we were invited to the strawberry farm to pick strawberries... so tat explains why i look so formal in the strawberry picking pixies... the strawberry are just so fresh.. yummy.. yummy...i was given a small bucket to pick the strawberry to bring pack home..

tat is my hardwork of eating and picking strawberries to take back home..

and the five buckets.. is what we got at the end.. it's more than 5kg.. and thus it is cheaper.. only pay for those taking back home.. those we ate while plucking is FOC..

and we went picnic last weekend.. was awesome.. so many activities going on.. families canoeing, swimming, skating and lots more..

we found a secluded place to have a picnic where no one could see us..

and those kids were teaching me the basic german language.. which i found it hard to grasp.. i dunno why.. it is so weird learning German.. but both 2 kids are so determine to make me learnt..

certainly had many hopeful students crying foul for what had happen. Apex Uni? and u expect this kind of technical glitch happening?

no excuses man.. it is definitely the uni's fault. and students are only giving 2 days to respond to the result. it is such a short time.. what if these students are somehow poor students who maybe could not respond immediately.. then will their place given to them taken back? and wat about those students who have been told they are accepted and the next minute.. they are actually not accepted?

such an agony to go through. it is definitely a thing tat the uni administration should rethink about the damaged that has been done and trying to rectify the problem and MAKE sure that it does not happen AGAIN!

1st Of June and it is holiday again here. Why do they have so many holidays here.. and shops are all closed for 2 consecutive day.. No shops are open on sunday and then with every holidays that they have here.. the shops wont be open..

the last few weekends was going for a painting.. a real painting of house..since that my homestay family is moving to a new house.. i helped them with some paintings.. i think i did more household work here compare back home in Penang. The scenery was awesome.. it's is near the countryside.. so the view is just so magnificient..

after painting.. we had a lil picnic and enjoy some food.. it was nice.. the breeze of air and the atmosphere was perfect.. really satisfying after painting.. =)

some of the flowers that blossom on the way to and back from work.. the flowers usually will stay for 2 weeks before it falls off.. and again.. other plants will take over.. and bare flowers.. so it is like different kind of flowers every 2 weeks.. but all is nice...

this is last weekend when i went to the park nearby the house.. they even have mini golf course tat reminds me of one of Mr Bean episode when he was playing the golf.. haha

last weekend also.. the market place or known as the Marktplatz have this fair on the cloth, thread and anything to do with sewing kind of thing.. it was fun.. you can see people shopping for cloth, buttons, and all.. as it is quite cheap compared to going to the shops and buy those stuff.

i am excited to know that my fave team has progress to the final of the champions league for the second consecutive year. funnily enough i had a dream last night that they were 2 goals down in Emirates and finally they scored the last minute(away goal) that put them through to the finals. But my dream was the opposite of the reality. Haha..

And i wish i would be able to purchase the ticket to watch them in Malaysia in July. Anyone wanna come along???

since i am talking on sports.. might as well write something about sports..

ferrari is not doing good in F1 at the moment. i did not expect Brawn GP to be this GOOD! congratulations to them. maybe F1 needed something new so that people could continue watching it...

Tennis- hmmm.. again my fave player isnt doing good.. and i sure bet Nadal is winning French Open again this year but then again i hope others like Murray n Djokovic will give him a good run or mayb Federer could come out with something Magnificent? hehe...

last week was my 1st week here.. so we went visiting the nearby town : Seigburg

it's a wonderful place though not as big as Cologne but it's perfect to just dine, walk and shop...

see the Clockhouse?? they said clothes there are cheap.. but I did not check it out yet.. maybe some other time....

then.. this is the picnic we had at the rhein park. apples, bread, juice, etc.. AWESOMENESS!!

1st Day -Sunday 12April2009

I arrived safely at Frankfurt Airport after 12hours plus flight from Penang to KLIA and to Frankfurt. Reached here at 6.30am It was really bright already and everything looks awesome!

After the immigration, went on to collect my baggage.

I came here with one course mate of mine, so both of us headed to the information counter on how to get to the train station. So we were told to take a shuttle bus to terminal one. Off we went searching for the exit to terminal one. Waited around 5 minutes for the bus and hop to the bus that will bring both of us to the train station.

then we reached at the train station about 10mins of bus ride. We had to carry our heavy luggage up the escalator then looking for the ticketing counter where we bought the tickets to Siegburg/Bonn from Frankfurt. It cost us 55euro each. damm ex. we told the person that we wanted the next train in 30minutes but he macam x nak layan so much that he gave us the train departing in 2 minutes???? crazy man.. we ran like hell to the train and had to go down 2 looong escalator to the train. damm tired running. Glad to have make it on time.. every seconds count here.

the person in charged then came over to the train station of Seigburg to pick us up back to her house at Hennef.

The train was a 30minutes ride and the scenery was FABULOUS!

after that we had our breakfast, took our naps and dinner and then some entertainment before we doze off for real....

will write day 2 on some other time.. unless i can figure out how to arrange the pics...sorry...

i dunno why.. but i have this weird feeling after the screening of all of our music video. i wasnt really satisfied with wat we did. maybe others were better? was i not equipped with the editing creativity? ideas? i dunno wat we lack off. Hopefully, i still get the chance to prove that i will be suitable in this field.. else.. maybe if i dont have any options that i will look into other field as well. sigh...

on another different note.. i am all excited but scared as well... i have made THE biggest decision on my life so far.. after 22 YEARS ..that may or maynot determine what i want to do in my future. anyhow, i am taking this big step out to venture into a different life and hopefully... hopefully.. it will pay off... wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

i had the most productive day this year, at least up till now. it's been the most amazing experience. i was doing things that i felt so energetic, fun and knowing lots of people. from friends, to lecturer, to usm staff and celebrity. it's darn cool though it was tiring but i enjoyed it. hope for more to come... shooting starts next week and then editing. guess this blog is going to be abandoned for now. once i am done with everything. there is so much more i wanna blog about. life is fun when challenges comes!!!! fun fun fun!!!!!!!!

Another Encounter with Barbarians

as you see above, my previous encounter with this barbarian was at my post in Dec. now, on dearest feb 14, my groupmates n i encounter another bunch of barbarians. barbarian because i seem to cant find any other words to describe them.

it was on last saturday that my group were on shooting in butterworth, nearby bagan ajam tol there at Pantai Bersih to shoot scenes of Penang Island seeing Komtar as our documentary is on Komtar. We wanted to make a timelapse of Komtar fr dawn till morning. so hours of recording is needed to make the timelapse successful.

but an hour into our recording when all of us we surrounded by the camera, the unexpected happenned.

out of sudden, a man came from behind us (all five of us couldnt hear any footsteps at all) and pointing a knife to all of us and shouted Tikam, Tikam and Tikam. 5 of us was stunt and shocked and i think we froze there for few seconds before reacting to the situatian. When only we begin to react, he ran away with the video cam and the tripod as well. He was running really fast jumping across the divider into another road while his frens were seating in the car waiting for him. I gave chase halfway until my fren shouted at me to stop as we could not catch them anymore. sigh.

we were trembling at that time and not knowing the place very much, we stumbled on how to go to the nearest police station. We finally found our way and make the way there. I was a bit dissapointed as well as i think the police could quickly deploy the patrolling police to quickly find that culprit. but he slowly type our report, calling one officer and another. after we calm down, we called our lecturer and dean to inform them. mind u, that the lost was estimated at RM 24K. how could we afford to pay wor. haihs. terrible, it was after an hour the officer managed to finish typing the report while at that time came another 2 ppl to report after their belongings was snatch by snacth thieves as well. is butterworth area really not that safe?

then we were told to go to the butterworth police station to meet the Sjn as he will assist us to do another report. Another sjn tat time try to find the car plate number that we remembered. Apparently the car was stolen in Kamunting there on friday and now that thieves is already in Penang. how fast but how come the police still cant do anything to it. haihs.. after hours in police station, we finally return to the island and went straight to school to meet our lecturer and the sch's technician. we were told to report to the USM security office, which we did and on monday we went to the security office and again to make the report and answer questions and questions.

all of us lost hope that the police will find the camera. now just let and hope that all of the property of USM that we lost could be covered with insurance else i dunno how we have to pay or any other disciplinary action will be taken against five of us.

i hated the fact that while our own security is threaten, the politicians are as busy as usual to bring each other down. please la, wake up.. ppl are suffering with the economic slowdown, more ppl are losing their jobs, cant they do anything??? but to create more stupic idiotic political scene. Its so memalukan you know.. malaysia is like an idiot to ourself. so much as i love my country but nothing could be done.. stupid. stupid politics!!!!!! i will stop here for now..

enuff said for this time. even going out now is a traumatic experience for me.. when unknown men walking towards me i will freak out.

I still had hope for the royal highness to you know make an u-turn on his statement yesterday. i tot maybe the royal highness would make some surprise news by calling the dissolution of the state assembly. but tidak kesampaian lor cause that Pangkor assemblyman was make the new MB of Perak. Congratulations to the newly elected lor.

but who am i to judge. i am just an ordianry malaysian citizen that have no power or watsover authority to do anything. might as well dun have elections at all la.. not democratic at all... so why do we learnt all those history when we were in school.. damm it. now tell me what is democratic?

since i was free the whole day with no classes... i sat in front of comp following anil netto's live report on the perak political situation and watching TVB series. damm fun la wei... maybe the malaysian politics should have more drama like this... even tvb drama also not that 'hebat'. =)

instead i go on with the flow and now i feel a bit of regret. i dunno whether i made the right decision or not. only time will tell. but it pist me that i should have known better but still i put myself in the situation where i am drifting along. haihs. stupid me.

today was a good day. it's been really long since i attend a proper class... discussing with my group mates, having fun around, discussing with lecturer and going around the gov department getting approval for shooting and stuff... it's only about 2 months left before we finish our FYP but i surely gonna miss it.. it's been fun and going to be fun working with them.. am going to enjoy every bit of it..

modern dance in the evening was ok..but i think i would have prefer cooking class though.. haihs.

started my first class last week. things have been going on ok... write and submit a proposal this week before it's approved. and for ko-k.. good damm it... cooking class is cancelled for this semester and i have to resort to take modern dance. class starts later today and wonder how would it go.

yesterday was a good day, 2 totally unknown strangers came and help my mum and i. this prove that there is still good people around. thank you both of you... you made my day and i hope your life will be bless as well. =)

man united beat chelsea 3-0 last nite. it was an unexpected outcome but it was a good game of football. =)

cny is like less than 2 weeks away but i havent done any shopping on clothes yet. hopefully i will get into the cny mood soon as it would be fun.. cousins coming back, going out with friends and all..

am done totally crapping. unless i have interesting things to write I will. else this virtual space will remain silent for quite sometimes. till then, wish everyone have a blast 2009!

been sick for a week. and it's the worst feeling ever. i had a great weekend out with my closes friends.. it was perfect but my body wasnt allowing me to be who i want to be... so there i was..dragging myself and a few times felt asleep while chatting in starbucks.. funny. and dahla i tahan myself from drinking coffee knowing my throat will get worse.. it's been a year since the six of us gather like tat. this has been different. conversation has been different. we changed. but one thing remain is the friendship we made during our high school. It's the one i will cherished and hopefully our friendship will remain forever. =)

this semester has been nothing for me.. so far i do not have any classes yet and it is great or maybe it is 'pre-arranged' knowing i will fall sick and giving me sometime to recover.. haha...

2008 come and going to end in hours time. but i am not complaining. 2008 has been a year of failing, trying, and standing up again for me. i have learnt and will continue to learn more in the future. i am sure that will make me a stronger person.

I am hoping and wishing for a better year ahead. Here is to a Happy New Year 2009! =)

The beginning of a new (last) semester

i only have 10 units left. so 9 unit is for my final year project and 1 unit for my Ko-K.
classes are on thurs and fri morning.. and kok is on mon and thurs evening. awesome. but of course i am going to be busy with the FYP.
dissappointed with my last semester's result. should have done way better. haihs.
Meet a few of my coursemates but they are all so busy with their final year project.. those in adwave, nemgrads..
i am scared shit of what will i do for my fyp but still so lazy to think about it.. so wait till i meet up with my groupmate to decide what are we going to do...

today was awesome. went jogging and breakfast with my 2 fabulous friend. it's been long or never before we went jogging. so yeah. we ran a few rounds.. jog a few before we were tired and went for breakfast.

i am hoping for a wonderful weekend.

few more days to the new semester or i should refer it as the LAST semester.

well, it's been the perfect holiday i had so far. going to cameron for the 'n' th time, joining the awesome food hunt and that we were clueless with the questions (haha), road trip to sitiawan and this coming weekend the winter solstice festival in batu ferringhi. i cant wait for it.. and with my cousins as well. FANTASTIC that's the word to describe this 1 month holiday.

of course in between i've watching drama series, movies, playing games in my bro's psp and some attempt to bake cake and cookies but failed miserably and i ended up doing pizzas.. haha.

i think tat pretty much sums up my dull holidays but seriously, i am enjoying so much fun hanging out with the bunch of friends i have.

Almost Perfect Reunion ruined by Barbarians

It was well planned by my fellow friends. It was to be our reunion since we finished Form6. There were 21 of us in the class. Physics class. We were the most annoying and the wild nightmare a teacher would want to have. We often talk and do things our way and give them a headache. But we didnt care. As long as we stay together, we are going to make it through. And make it through we did. For three years, since the last mass hang out. All of us took different path in life, we did things our way and we almost never seen each other in a long long time. Even if we did meet up, it will only be four to five person.

Sad isn’t it. But this time, it was determine that a meet up will go on well. All was planned so that most of us could attend. Now, usually it is always at E-Gate and E-gate and E-gate. Since we were tired of that, a new destination is choosen. A barbeque at CC;s place. I went earlier to CC’s place with cheng and then meet up with jian ming at cc’s house. Then we went for late breakfast cum early lunch at Island Glades before we head to Tesco and Jusco to grab needed stuff for the BBQ. Out of 21, 14 people made it for the BBQ. Few cant make but it is ok.. All of us were happy with those who came.

After coming back from shopping, cc’s mum were busy preparing some food for us.. curry chicken (yummy), tomyan maggi mee (yummy), and red bean tong sui for us. We then prepared the marinated chicken, mutton, salmon, corn and few others and we prepared drinks as well. All was well. After preparing and have some time gap between, we settled for I not Stupid 2. Was good. And finally it was time for the BBQ. Four of us head down to the management office to borrow some chairs and head to the bbq pit to prepare for the big reunion. Jian ming n I started the fire.. and we nearly failed.. but we didnt gave up. Then the rest begin to come and help up.. and finally we found success and begin barbequeing.. of course since we did look like a failure in the beginning, Some when up to cooked the chicken.. haha.. those of us who didnt gave up enjoyed the awesome bbq chickens. It was good. Really good. After eating, camwhoring around, we sat down in a circle and talk and talk and talk until untowards stuff happenned. Since beside CC’s apartment is a lowcost flat.. this bunch of idiot decided to disturb us.. but we didnt really care and they started playing with firecrackers.. 1st cracker was few metres away, then the second one.. almost omn the same spot.. the 3rd one prove crucial while we were talking.. one of shouted that the crackers is just beside us.. we started rushing away.. but it wasnt as fast as we wanted that the crackers explode.. it hurt cc’s at her hand, pam’s at her lips it was terrible. We were shouting as loud as we can towards those bunch of idiot or so i would prefer them as barbarians.

Dont they have better things to do?.. sorry, i am not being racist but this bunch of ppl happen to be few malays(you know, those mat rempit look-alike). I hate the fact that we were enjoying ourself there and they disturb how peaceful we were enjoying ourself. I could not make myself to forgive them.. what if my friends or I who did kena badly? Do this bastard think of any consequences? Why would they play and hurt someone innocent? Arghhh.... these idiotic bastard barbarians spoiled our most awaited day. Damm it. Now it left us with scar. Scar that will only haunt us for the rest of our life. Sigh.

We grew up, grew older and wiser. Some of us have known each other for 10 freaking years d. and that is what make us strong. No matter how many challenges or obstacle that is throw at us we will go through it strongly and bravely. I am sure all of us will find success in each of our own way. I hope that this friendship remains and that we will stay as friends forever.

completed my last two papers. to say that i was satisfied with one and disappointed with my french. screw up and mixep up some verbs, number and the conjugation. haihs. hopefully it dont cause me a lot of marks. sigh.

out of five papers this semester i only got confidence in three and screw up 2. die la.

oh well, it's over and holiday d.. so dun bother thinking about it until results are out.

going for a short vacation and having funs around.

now, we hafta start appealing for him so he could get into Phortay.. he insist that he doesnt want to go into Chungling.

dunno what is he thinking, apparently a lot of his friends wants PhorTay instead of CLHS. and right now he is out having fun with his friends. once again, congrats!! we are so proud of him!! =)

went to see doctor today, my foot which has a blister but not a blister look alike has been hurting for a month now. i thought it would heal but it didnt. so hafta resort in seeing a doc. all is well..

i have 2 more papers to go and have to work hard so to maintain my gpa after my disastrous paper yesterday. sad case. haihs.

just now me and my bro walk down to see the funeral thingy. his wife is a teacher at my bro school. so we went to like pay our last respects.. so terrible. the wife was crying non-stop. family and friends mourn the lost. i saw his youngest son(his only son, 4 years old), he have another 2 daughters. he was clueless on what is going on there.. i am sure when he grew up he will understand it better. pity his son that he might not know his dad. sigh.

on another news, the man who was burned to death in the car robberythingy (thestar) ,he live in the street behind my hse.. damm scary.. how could the people killed him.. pity his kids.. so young only. haihs.. what on earth is happening in Penang.. so many crime rate happen frequently in penang nowadays.. is the new gov so busy with finding investors that it had forgotten to protect us? how come the security level so bad nowadays?
can they stop woo-ing investors cause i feel the main core issue to focus is social and nothing have been done except.. investors,investors and investors.. duh.. i am sick of it already..

what about the development that has been going on, on the way to batu ferringhi.. all those luxurios bungalows that result in more trees being chopped down and when rains come.. all the soils washed away and causing minor landslides here and there.. why doesnt the auhtority pay more attention to it.. is developing whole penang we ever wanted without knowing what the consequences will be?

please..for the sake of Penang.. think properly before a new hills being lawn away for another luxorious project.
