swish, swosh, swash...

typically random but many happening things in the space of my last post and this entry. LEt me see, my assignment is pilling up like a mountain already and yet i never started anything knowing i have one to pass up tis tues. Blerghh.. help me as i have no idea on how to start it.

This is still a looong year to go and i wish it would be over soon enough. dun ask me why. i dun bother to apply for my practical but i get very scared and nervous when i see everyone around me working so hard to get the best place. and i start to freak the hell out of me. but after making several thinking and asking ppl around me, i decided to give up and wait for the school to make the last decision for me. That's it. but that doesnt mean i dun care about my future because i remain positive on my 3 choices would have give me a good impact in the society. GIVe me MAKNA and i will help put in more charity concerning the health stricken patient. i will do my best to help them lessen their burden, at least a lil. haha.

I wish i have time to go for a holiday. I need rest, i need peace to figure out what i want in life. i am a juncture of no-where to go and i need to find myself out. still i am on a looong journey to self discovery.

of internship and "hoo-haahss" of semester

Title pretty up sums it all. Yeah, it has a been a headache time considering how short time we were given to apply for our internship.
I browse thru the 26 places for us broadcast students to apply for. All this while, i only had red communication in my mind and my objective was clear, browse the pages to see if red com was there. and straight apply for that. Yup, i did see that.. and after that i was looking down on other companies on the paper, my heart took a 180 degree turn as i saw Majlis Kanser Nasional(MAKNA) on the list for intern to the broadcast student. My choices changed. i dunno why, but i wanted MAKNA instead of Red Com. then i went back and surf the web out. although what done in MAKNA doesnt have anything related to my field of study, it doesnt matter anymore. all i wanted was to help others for their burden and hopefully they dun suffer that much.
but apart of me was still hanging on to apply for production house for a chance to practice my skills.After much and deliberate consideration.. this is my final choice..
1) Skywalker TV
2)Red Communication
3)MAKNA

there you go.. fingers crossed i will get any of the above three for i am lazy to apply by my own anymore. after that will i decide whether to rent a house or stay with my friends..

And yeah. workload begin to increase.. pratically every subject is full/loaded with assignments d. but i cant be bother to start as my mind is wandering off somewhere for i dunno where..
Lets hope that things get going soon enough for me and when i hit that gear, i am not too late with everything.

for now, let me have a peace of mind and a journey to self discovery.

New Year 08

nope. this year, i did not make any new year resolution for i never keep up with resolution be4.
and my new year have been a blast as well. my family with my uncle's family went north to our grandparents house to spring clean the house. it was damm tiring and imagine throwing all things and cleaning up a huge house is so not easy!!!but it the fun that i enjoy! i reach home at nite. tired and slept till the next morning.
Up front we are bombarded with the local news on our ex health minister. it is sad. i just feel devastated. i felt sad for him. and i salute him for his courage to admit his mistake... and his family are all behind him which make things even more amazing. i would have stand by him although many of the 26millions malaysian might think that he have disgrace our country. yes, to one extend but tell me who or which men is not like him???
whether is a plot to bring him down or related to the coming General election, i dunno but the ppl who did this should be ashamed of themselves for doing such a thing.

on the other note, i lose interest to study this semester. i dunno why. everything dont seems to go on a right note.
i super semangat want to ramble on my feelings right now. but when i start writing... i just dunnow how to express my feelings here. guess i will leave it to next time then....

Disney Magic Live

on the 3rd of November, i won tickects to watch Disney Live Magic Show in Pisa courtesy of Astro. I indeed enjoyed the show very very much. For the past 2 occasions, i have been watching Disney on Ice, so, watching this magic show for the 1st time was brilliant. Since, i won the tickets, Astro organised a magic workshop for the winners to attend and i am glad we learnt some trick from their magicians...

and we werent allowed to bring in cameras to the show, thus we have to deposit it in the front counter. but i managed to sneak in my hp camera... this i what i managed to capture alhtough the security ppl kept watching those who was taking pixies.. haha.

It was all good and enjoyable.

Penang Food Hunt 2007

I recently participated in Penang Food Hunt 2007 organised by TimeoutSolutions with the Rasa Rasa Penang on 1 and 2 nd Dec.

It was fun. it was an unexpected msg from mei that lead us to sign up on it like on the spot. yeah, so 3 of us, girls in a team joined it.

and We are team number 19.

money prizes were guaranteed for the 1st 25 place winners... haha.. we did not get in there.. we know why but we know the trick how to next time.. as this was our 1st hunt adventure. the hunt starts at 12pm and we have a maximum 6.5 hours to finish the 3 leg hunt. First leg was to go to the 6 designated food places found in the rasarasa penang book and get the "chop" from the participating outlet. tat was the 1st part of leg 1. second part was to go to new world park and guess the type of food in the food court.. with clues sounding like.. exe: a meat from formosa.. then we have to hunt to get the answers from the other part of NWP. then, making popiah at the centre stage. We should not have spend much time on leg 1 and because of that we were running out of time for leg 2 and leg 3.

Leg 2 starts from new world park and we have to follow the tulip. which means navigate from our car with the route given and solve some hunt clues along the way. maybe because it was our first.. we found it extremely hard. we round and round the place again but could not find the answer tat we ended guessing few of them. Unlike leg 1, in leg 2 and leg 3 we have treasure to find and to submit at the end point later. we managed to solve the 2 treasure though. Leg 3 we just like leg 1.. navigate our way through the tulips given.

Overall, it was a good hunt and we enjoyed it much although we seems to panicked when we could not get the thing right. it's a good experience be4 we join another hunt soon. and i saw from the web that they are going to held this event yearly. so yeah,, hopefully i would be joining it again next year.

all is good.

oh well, woke up in the week of monday.. new semester.. early morning class in library. Getting to know that we have script to write for 90 pages is a lot for a dummy like me who prolly dunno anything and being creative i'm not.
and to know that every monday we will be watching film is hmmm.. undesirable..
next up was english. explaining this and that and considering this is a business cum communication english.. it;s more to business, coporate world. hopefully it's fun.

was catching up with friends after a month break was good. i love the feeling being around them and to catch up with the new gossips. hah.

and here i am ranting as i have got nothing to do. bleh.

anyway, manunited won against liverpool last night with carlos tevez scoring the only goal!! Yippee... and i was rooting for Chelsea to win.. but they lost 1-0 to Arsenal who is now leading the league table. All this coming weekend will be a busy weekend for all clubs as they are going to play as many matches thus determining who will head the table going into new year!

and well, all is Good. =)

One Month

It's been a month. yes, the last post is one month before and now, one month after. semester 2 starts. dang.. i am taking 20units(maximum) yet again. Dun ask me why. I dunno. mayb the urge of finishing of subjects faster. I do not know. but it's sometimes fun rushing around when you have more things to do.
One month past and many things happen. I didnt think that things could happen..people live. people leave. and i believe things happen for a reason. the older we are the more things we have to face.
this past 1 month. my bestfriend grandma pass away. so unexpected. for i only knew she has been diagnosed with cancer months ago.. and now she is gone. and then last week, i read in the newspaper.. a friend of mine. a primary school friend who died.. accident. saw it in the newspaper. there is a small picture of him and i recognise it from there. though i dun really know him but he was still my sch mate during primary. RIP. but i was sad to think that, why would you be drink driving for what you have done caused the death of yourself. if you had been more loving of your life and think of your family, they would be the one who will be saddened by your death. sorry, i am not blaming you.. but pls, people out there, appreciate your life k? think of the loved ones by yourside. Dun dissapoint them.

I am going to update what i have done for the past 1 month later. for now, this weekend is the super clash of the english giants. MAN UTD VS LIVERPOOL and ARSENAL VS CHELSEA.
Just hope the best teams wins. but sure i would be rooting for................
