our tutor for communication technology asked us to write an entry over a blog once a week. Being a lazy person i am, it's literally much of forcing myself to write. Sometimes i feel blogging is a way to rant things out where you are not able to express ourself in public. Maybe it's a new way, a new communication way to actually write things, rather than old-fashioned style :Diary. I used to and still am wrtiting a diary. It's more sort of a privacy given that writing a blog nowadays are no more safer than it is few years ago. Maybe technology did revolutionized us at make us easier to be a journalist itself.
Or will technology cause us more problems? In this case of blogging, it is already a big issue in Malaysia lately. Fuss on "unreal information" being written and etc....
Enough of all that... okay... what i learnt from YKT 214 was that technology is important but people who have the technology lagi hebat. I am not going to write what i leanrt in lecture but what i have gained from there.... see, wikimapia let us view the whole part of earth like damm fast. Virtual touring of whole earth in like few clicks... imagine us being the end user are able to see the whole world with few clicks, what about the person/instituition who creates this sort of technology? how will they actually manipulate? us/user? i am sure they can do lots of things on it. but at the end of the day.. the question will still be... will they/we misused technology for their/our own sake? that is the question to ponder upon and make us realised that technology indeed has change our lifestyle. We could even use technology to the max for our own good or to destroy someone.
