results came out. yes, i was disappointed. by far, my worst. but it's okay. i have two more sems to maintain my cgpa, so i will not grumble that much. I should have knew it but the paper i least expected to get the lowest, i got the lowest among the 6 subjects i took. sucks. stupid. grrr..

on the other hand, i shall be super busy next week. so coincidentally, i shall be covering an event which is taking place in FGS Dong Zen temple from 4-5th June and i will be at KLCC on the 6th.
and then 7th June is the Live show at KLCC.i sure hope is going to be fun!

watch Narnia yesterday nite. I find it pretty long and quite bored in some scenes. but overall it was ok. not too bad. prefer the 1st one better.

duh, why do people need to say, "suprisingly, penang people knows the road in KL".
make sense? i feel stupid. so does that mean, penang ppl dunno the roads in KL. than wat are we?
I just dun feel it's right to say so. if you are staying in one place for a long time, i am sure we will know the roads regardless of where you from right?

so why judge people by their state? we are all same human being!

FGS Dong Zen Temple

This place is famous for it's lighting of lantern during the Chinese New Year. From cyberjaya, we went to Dengkil and from there to Banting. It's an hour long journey. This place is located in a quite small town in Banting. but the food there is quite cheap and nice. Some people there do speak in hokkien but different slang with the Penang ones. hehe.
We almost got lost and yeap always give me direction inpromptu and i have to cut right and left immediately at the junction. damm dangerous. but luckily we managed to get to the place. It was nearly 3 hours spent at the temple cause there is so much things to see and to take pictures on.
We also did went in to see the Buddha's Relics but camera is not allowed so we tak berjaya take photos of the relics place.
Sadly, they dun have the lanterns during this wesak festival so i din get to see. but the scenery was really nice. I took hundreds of pictures until my cam ran out of battery so i have do use Yeap's camera.
Too many pictures i also dunno wat to put, but here is some random pics i managed to post up for now.
The celebration is not as grand as compared back in Penang but it was okay. Wishing everyone a Happy Wesak Day Celebration. I am going to miss the wesak day procession that i enjoyed with my friends for the past few years in Penang. those time where we went around all they way during the procession and just be ourself. I miss those days.

They have many many many sculpture, i saw this cute one and took a photo with it. Also there is sculpture on the 12 zodiac animals.
They tried to create a Lumbini Garden where Gautama Buddha stayed last time.
A beautiful garden created.

This is a wishing bell provided. So just wish and hit the bell. Dong!

This is the bathing of Siddharta Gautama, the Buddha before he received his enlightenment. It is place in the shrine hall of the temple. You can take 3 scoops to bathe the statue where 1 scoop on the right hand, 1 on the left and 1 scoop to bathe the back. and provided you dont knocked the head.
this is one of the 18 arahat sculpture. This is the laughing arahat.

If my battery didnt run out, i will be able to snap all of the 18 arahat. There is also 33 different statue of the Guan Yin which i managed to snapped. but lacking of time, i will only upload it when i have the access to internet next time.

till then i shall continue to hunt places for food and to visits in my 6 weeks left stay in Damansara.
buh-byeeee

Great Weekend!

I was supposed to follow my friend back to Penang but i decided to forgo it cause I have to come back by bus on monday and not many buses are available after Konsortium's incident. So i decided on another plan, which is to stay over at Yeap's house in Cyber and go around Selangor. It's much better cause i will learnt more new places here.

On Sat, after her exam, she headed to down to 1U as i do not how to drive over to Cyber. So I met her in 1U and we went for a shopping spree before we went to SS2 for our dinner and back to Cyber.
The place where she brought me for the food is GOOD. In SS2, Murni.
We ordered Claypot Lo Shui Fan (Bee Tai Bak) I never ate that be4 cause in Penang i never tasted nice Bee Tai Bak be4.and i baru tahu bee tai bak is also known as Lo Shui Fan. ahahaha. And we ordered one Hawaiian Roti.

it's filled with eggs, onions, sliced chicken meat, pineapple..
and we ordered another spaghetti cause we were not full.

We had so much of food and it was cheap. So many ppl eat over at the place. The crowd is just so much. Most ppl there are students and the crowd can strecth very loong to the whole street. forgot to take the pictures of the crowd but dun worry will go there more often cause they have many types of food over there. will try other type next time.

and then last weekend I went out with a national service friend of , Wai Ching to The Curve. We went shopping there and had TGIF for lunch. It was mother's day and was super crowded. ahaha. but it was a good day out. She brought me along seksyen 17 and guide me around mid valley and then i send her back to Klang cause she is doing her training in the Hospital there. Be4 sending her back to her hostel in the Hospital, we went for a Dry Bah Kut Teh. It tasted nice and i feel the white rice they do mix with salt. not bad at all. pai seh, dunno the place name cause i forgot to see the name but it's a shoplot hse near Klang Ampun Rahimah Hospital.

nice. nice nice.

I very super lazy to upload photos cause it takes time. more when i get back to Penang.

Coming up is my trip to FGS Dong Zen Temple.

Blank

I cant think of wat title to put for this entry.
*sports update*
Malaysia lost to China in Thomas Cup Semifinal, I thought we should have won it but damm it.. we lost. I am disappointed.
Nicol David won the British Open, congratulations.
Ferrari winning races, Yay!
Man United crowned British Premier League Champion, YAY YAY YAY!
anything else? i cant think of any already. I am missing out on everything except working.

I will also shut myself for 2 months. i do not want to know about any politics and news about malaysia.call me naive but really, i do not have access to internet all the time and i cant depend on mainstream media to provide me the 'oh-so-one-sided' news. So to be fair to the alternative news, i will shut myself. hahahaha.
I saw glimpse of news that Raja Petra was caught. I saw the parliament debate where the talk about the Pig issue where PKR was labelled as Projek Khinzir Nasional and the opposition hit back with BN as Babi Negara. I feel that they are so stupid, why want to debate on things like that. There are so many things to talk about.. wat about the inflation rate??? what has the government done??? I remember i saw the ruling gov promised tat if they won they will try to fight the inflation rate from rising? but really what do we have so far? i cannot see anything except that we are importing more rice from thailand to keep the stock of rice at a higher rate????? blerghh.. enough said, i dun want to know anything on politics in malaysia for this 2 months until i am back in Penang. and yeah, talking about penang, bloggers are uniting to support the Penang FOR Trams project.. I wanna support it!!!! Go Penang, Go Penang Tram!!!! wuhuuuu.. this is so much cooler..
there is more to work than wat i wrote on my previous entry. Certainly language barrier is difficult for me apart from my zero skills in editing. You see, i am an idiotic in mandarin and cantonese and i rarely could speak english to others cause they might not understand me and I might not understand them in mandarin. I am trying utterly hard to grasp this dialect and language. It will take time, but i am trying real hard. More drama but i am just lazy to elaborate on that. Maybe later or never.

Now I shall try to enjoy working, and eating nice and cheap food in Petaling Jaya.

More food on my next entry!

Alived and Happy! =)

Finally finally a connection to the vritual world and not sneaking to online. I am in Cyberjaya now. I am touring here until monday and celebrating Wesak Day in a temple here. I choose not to go back cause I want to enjoy 2 months here.

Time flies by really fast. This is a backdated entry which I have typed it out long ago before I was able to find a free internet service to upload this. Yes, I am still alive in the big city of Malaysia. Everything is fine. Do not worry. I have found my way around here and know a couple of place but the traffic here is unbearable and the food is okay and expensive.
Okay, I came here earlier a week before my actual date of Internship starts. Reason being: I do not want to drive down along, so my coursemate wanted to come down earlier and I agreed. So here I am a week earlier and bumming myself around KL with its public transportation. Things are okay, either I went around or I sat at home catching up with movies and TVB dramas.
Then finally, came the day of Internship. They were four of us in one company but one reported to work wee hour in the morning cause they had shooting on that day and he was in the technical team. So, three of us reported to work at the normal working hours. The GM came who is also our supervisor explained to us what we had to do and between 3 of us, one will be chosen and put in the client’s company or so called subsidiary company for the 2 months period. Lucky me or Unlucky me, I was chosen. I knew something was about to happen but not that I am separated from the rest. I was isolated from my fellow mates and was alone. After all the briefing, I was taken to the other company which is few blocks away from my supposed place of intern. My current office consists of the bos, wife and editor , and of course plus me, the trainee, there is four of us. I was asked to intro myself and bla bla bla. Oh, that company is a post-production company which means I shall be doing editing for the 2 months period. You know, i never ever thought I am going to do editing. I never like it. And now, i am place over here where i havent got a clue of editing and the last time i edited was during last Sept 07 where we did our group short video and PSA. Even that editing was sucky cause we really dunno and now i was supposed to edit!!! After the intro and all, the Editor taught me the 1st step, capturing video, according to the cue sheet and all. It was on one company’s corporate video. Up till now, I am trying and coping with editing. And, i edited one wedding dinner’s video. Sucky. But it’s my 1st attempt, hopefully it’s not too bad. Hehe.
I am just lazy to elaborate on work but yeah, it’s life but really, i seriously dont see myself in this field. Life as an editor is to seat in the four walls room and be creative to edit and that’s the final product people are going to see. Whether how bad the shooting was or footage is, the editor plays the most important role in ensuring that the End product is good. I cannot, cannot see myself in this field yet.. just yet. So i had a good chat with the editor. She is in this line for a freaking 8 years and she likes it because she says that in pre production and production you are only seeing bits of each things but in post production, you are seeing the whole picture and she likes the feeling of seeing all and reviewing everything and be satisfied with the final work. And she can even overnight in the office a week without going back home. I admire her but certainly this is not what i want in life. I am done with 2 weeks of internship and there is 6 more weeks to go but up to this point, it is not my cup of tea yet. I could not picture myself in her position.
Talking about life, how often do we get to do things that we wanted? Are we all bosses? But how many can be? Most of us work our ass off for others and they pay us for that? is it worth what we do for them?Underpaid? I really dunno, certainly I am really lost now. I do not have a clear direction what i want and certainly this is yet another juncture for me, and it seems to me it’s a tough one. I have a year more before i officially graduate, hoepfully time is enough for me to think over what i really want to do!

It’s a long long entry,i shall end with some pictures. Enjoy!

P/s : I am not homesick, I am not missing it cause my apartment now is just like home, I have everything here except the Internet. I long to go back after a day work cause it’s very comfortable. I even have a temporary mother who takes good care after me! My life outside internship is seriously darn good....

I shall write again real soon.
