FGS Dong Zen Temple

This place is famous for it's lighting of lantern during the Chinese New Year. From cyberjaya, we went to Dengkil and from there to Banting. It's an hour long journey. This place is located in a quite small town in Banting. but the food there is quite cheap and nice. Some people there do speak in hokkien but different slang with the Penang ones. hehe.
We almost got lost and yeap always give me direction inpromptu and i have to cut right and left immediately at the junction. damm dangerous. but luckily we managed to get to the place. It was nearly 3 hours spent at the temple cause there is so much things to see and to take pictures on.
We also did went in to see the Buddha's Relics but camera is not allowed so we tak berjaya take photos of the relics place.
Sadly, they dun have the lanterns during this wesak festival so i din get to see. but the scenery was really nice. I took hundreds of pictures until my cam ran out of battery so i have do use Yeap's camera.
Too many pictures i also dunno wat to put, but here is some random pics i managed to post up for now.
The celebration is not as grand as compared back in Penang but it was okay. Wishing everyone a Happy Wesak Day Celebration. I am going to miss the wesak day procession that i enjoyed with my friends for the past few years in Penang. those time where we went around all they way during the procession and just be ourself. I miss those days.

They have many many many sculpture, i saw this cute one and took a photo with it. Also there is sculpture on the 12 zodiac animals.
They tried to create a Lumbini Garden where Gautama Buddha stayed last time.
A beautiful garden created.

This is a wishing bell provided. So just wish and hit the bell. Dong!

This is the bathing of Siddharta Gautama, the Buddha before he received his enlightenment. It is place in the shrine hall of the temple. You can take 3 scoops to bathe the statue where 1 scoop on the right hand, 1 on the left and 1 scoop to bathe the back. and provided you dont knocked the head.
this is one of the 18 arahat sculpture. This is the laughing arahat.

If my battery didnt run out, i will be able to snap all of the 18 arahat. There is also 33 different statue of the Guan Yin which i managed to snapped. but lacking of time, i will only upload it when i have the access to internet next time.

till then i shall continue to hunt places for food and to visits in my 6 weeks left stay in Damansara.
buh-byeeee
