hype on high school musical 2

Yesterday, was the premiere of HSM 2 in disney channel in the asia region. the United States have watched the premiere last month. I watched it few weeks back due to the technology of downloading movie from the internet. to compare it with HSM 1. i would say this is a failure though i like the songs and some of the dance move. The story plot was not that good and i dont see any good acting as well. I dunno why there is so much hype. Maybe the success of HSM 1 lead ppl to cant wait of HSM 2.. the sequel. I would have prefer the sequel on the concert.. the drama show thingy.. then the summer holiday which was boring..
There is just so much hype.. Disney obviously have received free fall of cash from the merchandised sold all over the world and bla bla bla.
See, even in malaysia.. we did the bahasa malaysia version of the dialogue which was way so bad. I heard it for few minutes be4 it sounds even uglier that i switched back to the English version. yucks..
And then there is the MY School ROCK thingy which attracted up to 200 teams participated in it. This is just much hype and up till now they finalise 4 teams.. one of them was my ex secondary school. haha.
See, how much commercial of VALUE HSM has garnered.. i mean vow.. and why not they do a movie premiere instead of just DISNEY CHANNEL premiere.. and why do we have to seperate the premiere in US and in ASIA. if they had done the premiere simultaneously, i am sure private copy circulated in the net would be less as much would have watch it already.
it comes back to the power of the powerful ppl have//DISNEY is THE TOP media corporation in the WORLD. who knows how much they have secured from this 2 films.
Sometimes is the commercial value in it.

and just to premiere of HSM 2.. disney channel had the countdown with many more programs installed in the channel yesterday. and then commercial on HSM and bla bla bla.. Making it the BIg big grandest premiere.. or i should say the MOST GARNERED AND WATCHED mOVIE that disney has produced thus far..

it all then comes to who own the technology and have control on it... those who dont, like us the consumer either choose to watch or choose not to watch it...

I, watch it. and feel that there is just toooo much hype.
