migrant workers?

Last monday during lecture, we had a video on the topic this week.. Tek komunikasi dan pekerjaan. It was a video cdocumentary on the life of migrant workers in Malaysia. I mean how sad it is... the workers being treated like a piece of shit by our country.. i am sometimes ashamed of what we "malaysia" has become.... are we that cruel? Who is the cruel person? US? or the authority?.. i read on one blog which wrote on HOW foreigners who came to Malaysia is treat... it is real sad to hear that. HOw could a tourist be treated this way.. you may visit the blog here.. Sigh.. it happens in a week.. and then newspaper starting with headlines on to change the perception malaysian have on indonesian. I am not stereotyping indonesian.. but i have great respect for my friends who are from there. Not only that, remember a freelance writer.. Nila Tanzil from Indonesia who was being label "...." by our tourism minister... how sad is that??? she is a strong girl. i read her blog. I felt she is a strong person after what she has been through..but she is a tough girl.. you may want to read her blog as well... just try to look at diff perspective on things.

I think we have to have some pity on those migrants workers who wanna work here. They too, are finding and earning to support their family back home but we are exploiting them with MORE HOURS OF WORK BUT LITTLE SALARY. they are human beings as well. they deserved to be treated properly not being an kickass by the authority.. to those who have done that to the workers.. shame on you.. dun you have respect for yourself and being an dumb bell treating ppl like animals. even animlas are not tortured like that.

Take time to reflect on our mistakes and have respect for everybody. BY this, we could be a "respected" country back!

I am truly sorry to those foreigners, workers out there who got sentence of what they didnt deserved. MAy god bless you in other way, and forgive us for being cruel to you..
